Good thing about needle tang knives is they are relatively easy to put a comfortable wooden handle on compared to full tang knives where u have to do lot more work or u can just always wrap paracord around the tang and make a decent survival handle with it😊

Yes, I usually wrap the thread around the handle of the needle to strengthen it so it doesn't come off easily but for this knife it seems not and I forgot 😁

I never made a knife.... I like these simple knives people make from old files... If I were to make such a knife, I would FLATEN the FILE'S TANG - just enough to have more than one hole there - before I design / cut the blade shape... Just my opinion.... I like the knife you made... simple and functional...

Lovely design but had it been a full tang knife instead of a rat tail tang it would have been outperforming many expensive bushcraft heavy wood processing knives out there that are sold for 100+ bucks or even 200 bucks

The length of the tang is only about 10 cm maybe it would be stronger if the tang went all the way to the end of the handle

This design gives better balance to the knife. I have seen mora knives beaten with logs like people like to do to knives and survive. This is a thick knife and fully capable of batoning. My only criticism would be to epoxy the handle fully. I like the hidden pin design. Very nice!

@@hillbilly4christ638 personally I think full tang is always superior to the rat tail tang to me the weight doesn't really matter as I barely can notice it but that may be just me

Bukannya saya ga terima pesenan ya bang... takutnya nanti lama banget dan pisaunya untuk dipakai segera mending ke pandai besi aja... 1 atau 3 hari selesai kayanya... kalo pandai besi kan emang fokus pembuatan perkakas... kalau saya ada kerjaan lain selain buat pisau.
