I gave you a thumbs up, because you are a good teacher for people who want to learn basics , but very important facts about how to handle a knife in a kitchen. May I add to it.. Always having and maintaining a Sharp knife is important for your Safety Believe it or not all these techniques would not work without one . So keep that in mind 🤔☺️

Nice concise guide for basic knife skills. Though I winced when you scraped the board with the blade of your knife. Maintaining, and consequently not abusing a knife, is a relevant knife skill as well.

I never use a damp cloth for that , specially with my wooden cutting board , I use a silicone baking mat and that works fantastic.

haha just a few days ago i chopped off a bit of my thumb while cutting vegatables. from that i learned to keep the thumb hidden
