Open mats always seemed not worth it to me. It is the intensity. As a bjj school owner we have a stretcher, ice, crutches, first aid kid, and a Defibrillator as all gyms should. At a bare minimum... Dudes ego was the issue stay away from people like that. I've been training since 2013. Only had a few injuries it is the best sport but you 10000% have to take care of your partners that should be in the rules of all gyms. Only roll with people you know and trust. I say no a lot beinf a female and for thr health of my body i dont even care wgo judges my choices. People want to go to work the next day. Speedy recovery.
