@@Wabit-b6k I think her ability matches her questions about having to be furtive, since the faro ladies had to hide their games and to be careful with her steps so hunter won't notice her real steps... Not only that, but since she creates a mirage of her trails, it makes a 50/50 for the hunter as they have to go one way or another to know which bet will be the correct one Therefore, it also matches her role as decoder, a decoder with those knight-like abilities just doesn't make sense in my head

As a Zack Foster main, I'm very intrigued how predictions will effect his kit. Like for example if I swing with a fog blade, will it still trigger knights "ability" prediction because I still use his fog blade? Or just his "attack" prediction? Secondly, if it DOES cancel my abilities, do I decloak or does my fog blade still release?

Thinking about maining Knight? Not sure if youve got the big brain to figure out how to harness his potential? Ive got the tips for you 🫵 Combo: basically my word for a tactical string of his 2 predictions to counter the specific hunter you're up against. Examples of combos: this combo is what you should do against ranged hunters or chip hunters like fools gold, geisha, naiad, BQ bane, hermit, ETC. For example, geisha will want to use butterfly to get the hit, so your combo string should be "ability prediction", and since the Hunter's ability to close distance is now gone, judge how close they are to you and make the decision to either "stalemate" if you have distance, or "attack" if they are close. Close range hunter combos: hunters like joseph, opera, and night watch will focus on basic attacks. And their abilities are focused on closing the distance. Use the combo: "attack prediction" first, and depending on what the hunter is, use "ability prediction" or "stalemate" next. Ask me if you want me to give you a good combo for any hunter in particular.

​As a ripper main, he is particularly intriguing considering he doesn't have any "activatable" abilities and instead just has passive. But i would recommend using "attack prediction" because the ripper has NO activatable skill he can use to waste your prediction. If he wants to use his fog blade, he'd have to get stunned ​@@tannguyenkim5155

I think his ability is FAIR i love his annoying ass i think he will have a long cooldown so it wont be that annoying I hate how ppl dislike when a survivor can counter their hunters bcs we really needed this for some hunters like leo and ivy and even He does sound a little broken but i think a few adjustments will fix it

are we even considering the fact that ciphers pop EXTREMELY FAST in this game? Disabling the hunter as often as he can is BUSTED. Even waiting out the timers is bad for the hunter because of cipher speed. The problem isnt in his ability, the problem is the cipher speeds which make his ability inherently broken. If the ciphers were as fast as gens in dbd then i could see this power being fair, but they arent, and they're like 50x faster than gens in dbd. His power is cool and i love it, but the cipher speeds of this game make his power inherently broken as hell. Not to mention he has a free escape he gives a survivor, which when used halves the damage they take, but i guess thats what they had to do since tide turner doesnt trigger huh.

I think he's more of a kite/rescue type since it is stated that if Richard (and only Richard) is being pursued in a certain range, he gets a speed boost when he predicts the hunter's next action. His bluetooth rescue works well with single hit hunters like Geisha/Opera/Ann etc if you pair him with tide. He's also really strong against hunters who heavily rely on their abilities/presence to down survivors, like Hermit/Galatea/Bon Bon and it's kind of easy for him to spot whether or they will use an ability or an attack. Again, his skills just got revealed so don't take my analysis too seriously.. I can't wait for him to be tested out so everyone can get a better understanding about what he can doᕙ⁠(⁠⇀⁠‸⁠↼⁠‶⁠)⁠ᕗ

Razor language: predict hunter next move = hunter gets blocked, you get buffs. Once in the match you can insta rescue someone by kneeling on the ground. Doing that makes you and the recued receive half the damage for 8 seconds

He’s gonna be strong but not as overpowered as people think he’ll be, even in the trailer it was showing us how to counter his abilities. His decoding speed is a nerf, not much too talk about, His rescue ability, I’m pretty sure only the first use of it gains the half damage thing and so after that it just becomes being able to rescue from slightly further away as it was shown you can still be terrorshocked while doing it, so just treat it really as him rescuing from a chair as a hunter. His predict ability is his strongest and I have a feeling they’re gonna to balance this with long cooldowns, and it looks to be countered by charchters who can spam a skill or attack easily. When you see he is using his skill, try to refrain from using one of your things, or simply spam them until his thing runs out. If he isn’t correct good for you, if he is and he has increased movement or protection, hunters that have chip damage or can cover distances are gonna benefit better.

I really don't get the Dev's sometimes, when Ivy came I thought she was going to force the game into some serious changes that would buff both survivors and hunters and probably rework some traits, and then she got nerfed into having literal in-built lag. I don't have a issue with very powerful survivors but omg give the hunters some fairness and act like you want us to play with all survs instead of constantly pushing a meta.

i know i say this allot when a new surv releases but this guy actually looks busted af. Like, first off he can just GIVE a survivor a free escape, making all damage half for him and the survivor that escapes, he can just disable everything the hunter does, or give himself a shield reducing damage by half, this is nuts...the matches fly by as is with ciphers in PvP more stuff to delay the hunter by just disabling everything from abilities to basic attacks is ridiculous. The most balanced survivor recently released is faro lady, like, it was actually a breath of fresh air to see someone as balanced as her release for once

how would people get rid of him, aside from being banned by hunters, but there are far more busted survivors that need to be banned like priestess who is just perma ban, and Seer, who is just really annoying to go against, his abilities disable everything a hunter can do, and you cant even predict as hunter what he'll do its all luck based, which in a game as unbalanced as IdV is really REALLY bad for hunters. At this rate i think Priestess and him are gonna be perma bans.

@@OnlyOhiofan not really its a 33/33/33 chance on the hunter's part, and all of those 33 chances are something the hunter has to do to counter him, its broken as hell. You either try to attack him, get disarmed, try to use your power. get silenced, which is REALLY bad for hunters like Geisha and Sculptor, or he gets a shield that halves all damage recieved, meanwhile in this chase your having with him, 3 ciphers are gonna pop before you can even down him. even waiting out the timers is more time wasted, in a game where ciphers pop extremely fast
