I have been watching a lot of old Fall Guy episodes lately and it is crazy the amount of crossover there is in actors and locations used on the shows. After seeing your Train Derailment video, it’s cool seeing Jody’s Firebird now knowing its origin.

Crazy? It's called earning a living. This is the 1980's. The minimum wage was $3.35 an hour as of 1981. Lots of actors did more than one show, and sometimes multiple characters in multiple episodes. I can name plenty of examples: Lance Legault in both Knight of the Phoenix and Knight In Shining Armor in Knight Rider, as well as Airwolf To Snare a Wolf and Sweet Britches, and Colonel Decker in the A-Team. Especially if you were not a regular cast member, you still had to eat and pay bills.

That turbo boost scene is one of the most surreal things I've ever seen on screen. I don't know exactly how they filmed that (camera lens setup, etc) but it looks like you're really there seeing it happen especially since it's all one take no cut(s). Incredible!

The location around 6 flags, have you checked out Westridge Pkwy? There's a few different tracks there that google man wont go, but looks like the ups & down of a mountain it could be in that area by street view.

I'm making a guess here for the location in 2:16 there's a link road just east of Westridge Parkway (near Fall Line St) that seems to line up (in 3D view and road route) however it looks like the hill on the left has been levelled quite a bit

maybe edit the night time screenshots to brighten them up and remove shadows etc to reveal more details? just an idea that might just help a tad bit.

Yeah, he could totally throw it in Adobe Photoshop and brighten it, I screen shot his dark pictures and it makes it easier to see stuff.

That penitentiary the Greystone building I think is in the back lot at Paramont studios, and it was used in the Airwolf seen for that mad scientist not completely sure but I’m pretty sure what is an Airwolf back lot seen

Late actor Larry Dobkin who played villainous general Kincaid, actually played two different characters in two different episodes in Macgyver "Hell Week" and "Prisoner Of Conscience." Terrific actor. Sorry that he's gone. Dugan was pretty resourceful in his escape from the locked camper trailer. Regarding the dark shots have you tried to invert the photos to create a photo negative effect and or playing with the brightness and contrast controls to see if any hidden details are revealed? Just a thought. Thanks for the video and sharing this with us.

You must have a lot of hard drives inside your computer and lots of back ups for all that data. So many screenshots, photos, Knight Rider episodes, KZbin videos, music files. I would be quite interested in seeing/ hearing a little about that 'behind the scenes' sort of stuff, if you were to ever want to mention it. Thanks for another great commentary video.

Joe the prison that Devon is in is at Universal it also was used in Airwolf in a handful of episodes it's actually a castle set.

Hi Joe, The building with the arches was used in the Airwolf episode 'Fallen Angel'. The arches and the steps can clearly be seen in one of the scenes. It must have been a stage mock up as it was supposed to be a castle and got badly damaged by Airwolf at the end of the episode. Also the Gillette Ranch was used in the Airwolf episode 'Fight like a Dove'. Loving this series.

Due east of the old road is an ungoogled road with The Lost Boys Bridge on it, luckily there is a blue dot on a roundabout near there and it looks so close to the location your looking for. There is a big round tank on top of that hill and looks really like the area for that scene :)

It was filmed in California and some on the sound stage at Universal City Studios' Bob Hope Theater.

My observation is of the scene potentially at the Backlot. I believe it is the Backlot based on the logistics of the scene. That's a lot of extras in costumes to be transporting and yes it could be done I just know there wouldn't be that many guards.

The camp ground is Golden Oak Ranch just to the south and west of 19802 Placerita Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, California 91321

I'm gonna say that the location that has been bothering you for years is the backlot at Universal Studios. What makes me think that is I've been on the old tour several times and that looks like what was called the Court of Miracles. They filmed some scenes for AirWolf there also and at the Gillette Ranch. In the AirWolf episode they were looking for a Nazi officer. I think the name of the episode was Fight Like a Dove.

It is the Backlot, another reason you can tell is the amount of extras in uni. Sure they could bring that many to a live location but it's not logical. The logistics of the scene is what tells me it's the Backlot.

The watchtower was once at the Los Angeles County Sheriff Men´s Central Jail in 441 Bauchet Street. Found it a while ago using Google lens.

Six flags location. Dirt road in hills between West Ranch High School and Eastlink Park. The hill you’re looking for has been graded down for new homes.

I doubt California would keep forty year old records still on paper. More than likely, old records beyond the statutory retention policy were converted either to microfiche or to an electronic format. Forty years of paper records would take up a LOT of storage space.

Is it just me or is the Six Flags location easy? Forget the mountains. You just need a park ride map circa 1982 or period photos from 1982. In your screenshot, a coaster track hump can be seen faintly to the left of the tower. There will be only a couple camera location angles where the tower and coaster will have that relationship. It may even still be the same today but parks tend to change rides and it has been a long time so trying to do this as the park stands on 2024 is probably not doable. Not familiar with that park but I figure this one should take less than half an hour to figure out just doing photo triangulation.
