Knightmare Of Hell DOOM

Hi all,
I've not uploaded a video in a while of my monster, no changes have been made - this is just for fun. If I get chance I will have it up for download so you can use as an end Boss in your own maps.

The problem with long boss fights is that the monsters need a large variety of behaviors to not bore you to death.

Hi all, Seems there's been quite a bit of interest in this monster for a while now.. I've actually not looked at this for a while however after watching the videos of him there's certainly a few things I need to adjust... this monster was created within the plutonia.wad so I will need to extract all the files/sprites/sounds etc into its own separate wad and then it can be released. In answer to your question, it can be used but I would like the credit for it please as out of all my monsters this Is the one I'm most proud of and spent a lot of time to do :)

Psx doom is just amazing, remember when having 4, i used to be afraid of barons at e1m8, just the music chills my bones, i still have the disc :')))

I like making really big boss monsters too. I always attach some bright dynamic lights to them for added effects in my really dark maps

You should set all the mosters to attack it as soon as it spawns. A lot of them died before they could get a shot in.

The giant blue dudes at the end are dope! They have a very deadly, arcane aesthetic. Dark magic users, they appear smarter and are more imposing for that reason... unlike the more common brutish looking daemons we're used to. A+

Please make a war all against all. I remember a scenario were there were dozens of enemies, i use to run in-between them for them to notice my presence, everyone started to shoot and seek me, and also repell the atacks of others, it came the moment all that was a huge war and me only watching. So much fun 😊

If you're going to release this to the public, one adjustment you'd want to make (to make the bossfight more fun imo) would be to either increase the painchance from 7 to idk, 10? 20? If you don't want to do that a good adjustment would be to telegraph the Big spewing fireball more, make it look like he actually has to charge it up before throwing it. It already has that, but increase the timer before he shoots it and it'll be golden. Those are about the only 2 adjustments that's really needed, other than that this would be a blast to use as a final FINAL boss in custom maps.

It's a PC mod that converts PC doom to PSX(playstation) doom. PSX DooM and DooM 64 have the same sounds and music because DooM 64 uses the sound bytes of PSX DooM.

You need to use summon *insert name of monster* example summon baronofhell Or you can use summonfriend instead and they become your helper against the enemies. Linetarget (whilst facing an monster) will give you it's remaining health points and what is started with.. quite handy Imo

As someone who only tried playing classic Doom for the first time last year... why have you done this? These games are hard enough on Easy for this 30-year-old ultra noob with no experience in Doom. Why add on this Ultra-Hyper-Asvanced Touhout bullet hell schtick? How impossible fo you need it to be to surglvive a boss fight before you're satisfied? I take a look at these custom monsters and suddenly Plutonia seems like a gentle picnic in the park with rainbows and flowers...
