In the original version, ground item are chess pieces. and different colors too. In the original version, it is intentionally programmed to be able to power up twice by using the timer stop item together. Some of the enemy algorithms are also different from the original version.

Most if not all of the SFX are intact (satisfying!) but the "updated" music is shit. Whoever produced that crap needs a smack behind both ears. If you're going to remix classic Konami tunes, get an excellent producer. Nothing less.
