Look closely and you can see that man wearing the black jacket is NOT the Hoff. It is a stunt driver from a stock footage shot. Poor editing. Remember though, back in the 80's there was no Hi Def TV and no one would've realized it back then.

@@keithlestrange4249 No, it's just that Knight Rider had terrible editing. They would even put shots with finger pushin button when KITT was supposed to drive without a driver. Overall it has the be the most poorly made of all famous 80s TV shows. Wrong clothes, mysterious fingers, people looking in wrong directions during different shots of the same conversation, that sort of thing. In one episode KITT tells Micheal to go into reverse and 3 seconds later asks: "Why reverse? We could have jumped over it!"

Also if you look closely at the last shot from the up, not only the roof is broken, the rear wing is falling off as the car bumps down there. But back in the day on small CRT screens nobody could see it.

@@vinpetrol4309 I think this show would have been awesome if they edited dialogues in some scenes and gave some CGI treatment to the scenes made with scale models and the flivver car. Not much, just remove nonsenses, improve the model looks and get rid of that light shining through the bottom of the flivver car. Everything else, like the real Trans Am jumps would remain unedited.

@@Theratron Actually makes more sense than just costs saving. Those cars did some stuntdriving and feedback from the car (all the movements, g forces shocks etc. that hit driver's back) are crucial for controlling a car when it's sliding.

These days it is, as someone here in the Netherlands (I believe his name is Bjorn Harms) has made a remote controlled KITT. It's still impressive what he can do with it. ​@@Theratron Analogue electronics could easily do remote control back then. This technology first turned up in the XIXth century. By 1930s even remote controlled tanks existed. Search 'Teletank'. It was radio-controlled, could turn, fire machine guns, flamethrowers, drop time bombs etc.

I like how any word these days is a new word and gets it's own definition. !!!OR!!! It gets added to an actual word's definition as a "type of spelling" of said "new word".... Hited? tf....
