Yeah, they synergize. It might be a combo or it might not be. If taunt druid is a deck, it will probably run this combo though it might cut out spreading plague. Only time will tell.

Bloodreaver gul`dan its a card only for wild in my opinion , where you have very strong demons like malganis who you can summon by voidcaller, and also you could use kaza/krul and RENO too. I once tryed out this deck and its works! , i managed to climb from rank 20 to 4 only using it, and adding this card + the new 5 mana demon ll make the deck even better.

It’s pretty clear they were thinking “let’s create a card for build-a-beast that can essentially poison everything”, while realising they had to keep such a powerful effect in check with a high mana cost... like quite a few collectible cards it’s not meant to be played on its own, but exists for such interesting situations to occur outside of your starting deck

The 1 mana skeletons are actually quite good for combo starter. You don't fill your deck with low cost as it will give you 2 for free, and 5 Mana 5/5 is not bad on curve

Couldn't you combo Death knight Garrosh, his hero power with King Mosh? I know you can do that with Whirlwind. But now that it becomes his permanent hero power you don't have to run the whirlwinds and you don't have to hold the whirlwinds and king mosh in your hand at all times.

I think Death Revenant might be worth a little more than what credit it's being given. Basically you can combo it with a whirlwind effect to get +1/+1 for every surviving minion, even the opponents. Hitting 3 minions wouldn't be that difficult imo. Maybe it would make a nice tech card against a board-heavy midrange meta or even in Taunt Warrior.

I'm pretty sure bloatbat exists to be used in the death hunter hero power. Thinking about it as its own minion isn't really fair. If you mix it with a taunt minion, it becomes something like a chillmaw.

Zom if you give the wild pyromancer poison with the adapt paladin spell, it deals 1 damage to everything and kills everything. Poison on Baron Geddon would have the same effect (I know it seems wrong, but it's legit)

I think trump has undervalued deathknight garrosh's hero power. Having this card in your deck means you no longer have to hold on to any kind of aoe dmg cards to activate the cards you need to eg a big spin on armor smith or hellscream. I think it will be nice to use whirlwind or ghoul whenever its even slightly beneficial knowing that i have the hero power to fall back on for future cards.

I think people are underestimating toxic arrow over arcane shot for the simple fact hunter often floats mana with it and it's used in conjunction with minions attacking...where're the minion would die anyways. So I feel it's worth wayyyyy more.

I think Doomerang might be viable with Perdition's Blade, if you can proc the combo turn three. Thats 2 damage off the battle cry, two damage from the weapon swing,then another two damage from doomerang turn 4, another two damage form the periditon battlecry again, and a second swing. thats ten damage in five chunks from a two card combo by turn four. I could see that really shutting down aggro decks better than fan of knives. Similar idea to how good SI agent is as well.

Bone Baron would do well in Quest Rogue. Solid mid-game card, particularly if you haven't completed your quest, the two 5/5 skeletons for 2 mana total (I assume) once your quest is finished. Sound good?

PhazonOmega You don't need it for quest rogue. It's so easy to do quest rogue with just cheap fire elementals from fireflies and igneous elementals. Hell, even Southsea Deckhand is exceptionally easy to bounce to finish your quest by turn 4. Bone Baron won't see play in quest rogue. 1 cost minions, bounceback cards, and cheap damage spells are the only things quest rogue needs to win.

Not to say it's good, but you missed the important fact that Death Revenant doesn't look at friendly damaged minion, but at damaged minion period, so the comparison to battle rage and Frostwolf warlord is not correct. That said, yes if there is multiple damaged minions on the opponent's side and you play this, i can't imagine this going well. But it will be easier to get it to be big actually, thought i'd mention this.

The snow giant could be good with corpse raiser, its a cheap big card so you have the mana to spare for a 5 mana minion, also yea i think the warrior deathknight has a chance of just not seing any play, because controll warriors are not a thing at the moment and when they are they need the armor desperatly and for aggro warrior its way too slow. But maybe we will see a new type of combo warrior with enrage minions and such.

Because they won't , in the long run. At least at high levels of ladder. Like no one is going to be playing enrage warrior at ranks 5+ with the current cards we have for that archetype. The mana costs aren't low enough to push it when we have stuff like pirates. Similar arguments for other interesting ideas they've promoted.

Death revenant is an anti token/ board fill aggro card. In this meta it can be pretty damn good. (You have 2 in play shaman/druid has 4 in play(and 2 with 1 hp) 5 mana 9/9

it costs 6 mana but you can give bloat bat poisonous with the new poisonous arrow and it will kill all enemy minions since the now poisonous bat is dealing the damage with its deathrattle. Obviously 6 mana is quite costly for a boardclear that needs 2 cards.

One redeemable quality about Strongshell Scavenger is that it is a minion. When I play a bolster taunt warrior deck, more often than not, Bolster ends up being a dead card. 2/3 body > nothing in the late game draw of control vs control

Bloodreaver Gul'dan is too weak because the pool of available demons is awful. Only 15 atm and 17 when the set hits and all but 3 of them have an innate draw back. 4 of them are 1 mana, another 4 are discard engines, yet 4 more will burn you on summon, and 1 is jaraxxus who wont be dying on the board. That's 13 out of 17 which can hamper your ability to play a large tempo swinging card. Your best bet is to use kruul to avoid the discard mechanic. But then you rely on random demon generating cards which carry the risk of instantly loosing you the game. Unlicensed apothocary will deal you 5 damage for each other minion summoned to your board, including minions summoned at the same time as itself. It did this with kruul i doubt blizz will fix it for Bloodreaver. Even if you kill it off before it kills you the first time Bloodreaver will almost guarantee your death on activation. Warlock is rarely over 20 hp thanks to life tap and hp burning effects like hellfire and felfire that are necessary to control the board. So just 4 minions will take you down to 5 hp. This card is only good is wild where warlock has access to its better demons.

Renounce Darkness isn't the quest. But a Lakkari Sacrifice / Bloodreaver Guldan deck could be good, yes. The only thing is that you should not draw Guldan early. And it doesn't solve one of Quest Warlock's problem : early game against aggro.
