Watching the relationship between these two has been the primary reason for my viewing this whole series 🤩

I was always more of a Nick and Janette fan, but I did enjoy some of Nick and Nat's moments too. Only the Lonely is a fantastic episode. I love how they met. :-)

Kristin, Another awesome video! This is what essentially got me hooked on FK in the 90's, was how Nat and Nick met. I remember driving myself bonkers trying to figure out what episode and what season this flashback sequence took place. For a few years I had erroneously presumed that it was either on episode one, "Dark Knight" or the second episode of the first season. Why I thought there was an actual episode devoted to when (and how) Nat met Nick is beyond me, but could be that I never knew years ago how many seasons of FK were produced since this was still long before "everything went to DVD box sets", so to speak. I vividly remember my initial reaction when I saw Nick just hop off the morgue table scaring Nat half to death. (No punn intended, heh!), then sauntered to the refrigerator and snagged a blood bag. It gave me a good fright yet also had a very cool twist to the old vampire cliché, we as viewers and fans, typically see vampires coming across to mortals upon first meetings whether it be cinema or books. It really played well into the psyche I thought. And yet there's a very strong underlying sensuality and romanticism that the producers visually hit on and struck a deep resonating chord with FK fans from the very start. I wished this had been fleshed out more (meaning, more of a back story). I also realize that there were time constraints and whatnot to consider more than likely. As it stands even years later I'm still very much enthralled by Nick's essential introduction to Nat as both terrifying and sensual, and yet still retains their humanity, compassion and a slim probability to become mortal again. Honestly, I'd take Nick just as he is and chuck the whole "find a cure for vampirism" to the curb. 🫠🥰😍🧛♂️🦇⚰️❤️ ❤️🦇🧛♂️😊🥰😍

Thank you so much! Yes, I remember seeing a glimpse of how they met in Last Knight. I was about 12 when I discovered the show during season 3's run, so I saw it backwards. I wanted to see the other seasons so badly. Thank goodness Sci fi channel started airing them a few years later. I was even more hooked after that. ;-) I really love how Nick and Nat met too. You can tell they had a connection from the start and even though Nat wouldn't admit it, I think she was truly drawn to his vampiric side too. It made Nick all the more alluring. Thank you again! :)

@knightvision1228 oh, yes, had it not been for the Sci-Fi network, I likely never would have known much about this fascinating series other than when it had originally aired on the USA network back in the early 90's. And you're so correct about Nick and Nat. I think Nat was drawn to Nick's vampiric side as well, possibly even a lover as their relationship even though platonic, still left a lot of room for vast potential for them *maybe* to be together for eternity and sadly that never happened. And thank you for reminding me of the correct episode. I don't recall what episode aired when I was 14/15 years old back in 92'. All I do remember were my parents telling me to see "this vampire cop on TV." They knew I had loved vampires from a very early age. But for some reason the series didn't click with me as a teenager. Now when I was in my twenties and saw it in syndication, I was hooked instantly! 🙂🥰 I jumped in the first series on Sci-Fi probably mid-point of FK. I wrote to Ger's fanclub and lo and behold, got his autograph plus a letter printed on a [then] current computer likely from 1996 or so. It had his signature on it and personalized to me. I was in awe and still retain both to this day and I'll deeply cherish them. 😍

@@knightvision1228 Favorite memories, and also thoughts on their characters; one thing you could tell in this series is that every actor was very much invested in their role - it's what gave it that special reason for me to remember the episodes 🙂 Plus they had a lot of fun while doing so - just need to check out the blooper reels to see that! 😂

Thank you! Oh yes, FK deserved so much better. It never stood a chance. Last Knight is still really hard to watch even to this day. So much heartbreak. The writers seemed to quit caring and it really showed in season 3.

@knightvision1228 Жыл бұрын
@@wambutu7679 TV was definitely better back then!
@EB1878 Жыл бұрын
@@wambutu7679 television was definitely much better back in these days. The 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's equally had some good programs, soap operas, sitcoms, game shows, talk shows, etc. 😊 Not "old guy mode" kicking in in my humble opinion. I'm a woman, by the way. 😉 I vividly remember TV always had something exciting to watch even if it was a rerun of Andy Griffith, The Munsters, Leave it to Beaver, etc. TV nowadays to me seems too abundant with Hulu, brit box, and other "rerun/syndication" TV show stations that it not only boggles my mind, but is a very prime example as to why I don't watch TV. I much prefer dvds and the old outdated VHS tapes in my collection. FK will be high on my list of securing a new unopened copy of. Sadly, the three DVD sets I bought from eBay were scuffed and looked as though someone had dredged them through the mud. Took me hours to clean up the dvds and they still weren't playable all the way through. So, I'm hoping to find a new set soon. 😉
