the batsuit has titanium plates covering everything, similar to the joints on knight armor. They also have titanium dipped kevlar coils for extra support. In the comics his armor is 100% bullet proof and mainly impact resistant

Kwing did you know if you go back to the clock tower after getting the hacking remote. There is a green light on the right side of the room. Hack it and Easter egg. Also if you check out the evidence room at the police station, there is a gadget you can re obtain from Arkham city.

Knightwing, if you hadn't noticed, the animation on those screens of the things you destroy to disable the towers? That's the same animation that the original cryptographic sequencer used in Arkham Asylum. Take a close look at the screen that's about to appear at 3:48

No Kwife its not titanium its better he took various weapon proof items such as kevlar , boron carbide also nomex as well as other things in fact batman explains why his belt is not very paramilitary and its very simple: speed. He has to be able to fight crime and a bigger belt would just slow him down same reason he doesn't settle for just titanium as Kwing said he couldn't move he has to have a layer of defenses to survive however because Batmans intelligent he sacrifices some protection because of his need to be able to conserve his stamina and strength and be able to chase Catwoman and fight Bane is difficult if he has to lug around heavy armor he needs something to protect himself and allow free movement at the same time.
