yes, absolutley. Just make sure that the metanodes have flow variable in- and output ports to route the variables through them. if you want to do repetitive work e. g. per row of data, a lot of the manipulation nodes (yellow 1s) work on a row basis, or - if you have a combo of nodes that should repetitively do stuff per row - you could also use a loop. Hopefully this answers your questions.

Thank you for the comment. The question is a little bit what it is you want to take a screenshot of. Web- / Browser content can be done e.g. with Selenium Nodes (premium add on but very affordable) or the Screenshot node from AF Utility Nodes. I don't understand though what you mean by save it to an Excel file. Do you want to integrate an image format (like jpg, png etc) in your spreadsheet file?

Thank you for all the info you provide. A quick question: On min 6:28 , Your Node shows Excel Reader (4:1). Mine cannot keep from showing 0:1 not matter what I do. Based on some posts on the forum I even have reinstalled my Knime app and nothing changed. Any ideas?

Hi JR, sorry for not getting back earlier. These node numbers (so to say) like 4:1 or 0:1 really don't matter. It's an internal numbering that is used also in the console e. g. when there is an error and you need to look up in which node it happened. As long as you get the same results from the Excel Reader Node, you should be good to go.

Hey. I am using KNIME to build decision tree classifier. I have two datasets, training and unknown which I have connected to Decision Tree Learner and Decision Tree Predictor respectively. However, the scorer shows an error of 'There were missing values in the reference or in the prediction class column'. There are no missing values in the dataset, I have treated them all. Could you help me make sense of this? Thanks!

How can you add the Excel reader directly into the Workflow group? so instead of having a workflow that reads that file, I want to put the file reader in the folder. I saw that this is possible with the default exercises in Knime.

Thank you for the comment. If you mean the workflow group within the workspace, you cannot add nodes there. The workspace holds either folders (called workflow groups) or workflows themselves. A node is always within a workflow. But what you can do and what you probably have seen is something like a data folder that holds the source files. To do that, right click on the workspace and select "New Workflow Group..." - name this "data" Then you can right-click on that newly created folder and select "copy location" -> "local path". This will copy the location on your system to the clipboard. Open a file explorer (e. g. Windows Explorer) and paste this copied address in - voilà, you're now in that folder. Now you can copy paste any file into that folder using standard file copying processes (like CTRL+C and CTRL+V) on your local machine. If you click the refresh button in the KNIME explorer, you will see the files there. Let me know, if this helps.

sure: the top output port gives you the completed pivot table (the combination of groups and pivots) The middle output port gives you only the groups (wihtout the pivots) And the bottom output port gives you just the pivots (without the groups) You can evaluate each one of them by right-clicking on the executed Pivoting Node and instead of selecting the Pivot Table entry at the bottom of the context menu, select one of the other 2 items. Thank you a lot for the comment. Not sure if direct translation - let's say from German to English - is possible in KNIME as this is not really what KNIME is supposed to do. It might be possible to create something like this but I guess it is quite a bit of effort. I would say your best bet is to go to the KNIME forums and ask there how one should approach this (unfortunately, I do not have a solution at hand right now). Hope this helps anyways.

Once you have opened your worklfow, take the second to last icon (the one that reads "Opew the settings dialog for the workflow editor") or alternatively press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+X - this will open the Workflow Editor Settings which are relevant only for this workflow. Uncheck the box at the bottom that reads ""Curved Connections" - now they should be straight. Filter the rows on the price column and keep only instances describing cars that are less than $10,000. Write the file out to csv and report back the number of rows.
