I'm a maintenance tech at a hospital I carry a pair of the cobra xs pliers and a Klein adjustable stubby screw driver it has about 6 different size bits in the handle these are my EDC tools they fit perfect in my front pocket I also tote a Microtech dirac OTF knife as a EDC .

It's a beautiful thing. I have the 5", and when askes to, they WILL surprise you. This one will go on Santa's list though I also would like to see the larger sizes w/o the grip, but with the knurling

MY 2 favorite Cobras, are the 150 and the 180. 125 and XS are way to small, so that they don't provide neither the torque, not the aggresive teeth, that all the other Cobras are known for. 150 is the way to go for edc and 180 for around house or professionally. 250 and the larger ones, are great depending the job. for example car mechanic, Ship mechanic etc

Yes agree. I was also hyping the xs alot, but in reality (working in facility maintenance) its way too small and too weak. I gave it to my girlfriend, she is happy that with the xs she can use it to pull the fish bones out of our salmons.

The pinch point is at the end of the handle. Ask anyone who has been pinched. If you want pinch try Milwaukee.

Haha! They’re very vague on where the pinch guard is. I believe I saw some of their videos where they point out the pinch guard is near the top of where the cushion ends in the forging of the metal.

I have the 5 inch and that new 4 inch one (I do have 3 other ones as well). I carry the smallest in my pocket. It comes in very handy.

I have a small pair of Irwin. They are more like ignition pliers than like these XS Cobras.

I don’t know to much about those, but I’ve heard that the preference on those can get annoying as well.

@@AutobahnDan I keep them in my electrical bag and will use them to hold nuts when working on server racks and cabinets. Don't really use them for anything else.

No, that’s a demo. They come tagged bare, in a thin cardboard box, or with a part number ending in “SBA” in a hang up clam shell package.
