Good video onetoolaweekguy. You do have a nice selection of Cobras. I have accumulated size up to 300 and a few grip options. They are great pliers. I still have and use Channellock, Klein, Irwin pliers too and like them all.

I use knipex mainly for gas pipe repairs right now, Ive seen the quick set are they worth getting? Also those 560/22 inch are a joke1😆

I'm a dipped grip guy when it comes to cobras I don't have space for thick handles in my veto tech pack with double tool wall. My most used are the 180s but I like the 250s more. I never bought 300s and regret buying the 6in ones almost useless. I tell general people to get the 7 1/4 or 10in and forget the rest. Your unlikely in regular everyday fixes to use much else. If your doing plumbing especially thin wall p trap stuff get a 6in oil filter wrench it can do all the way to basket strainer nuts down to 1.5in plastic. You an swing that around much easier than a pair of 12in cobras under a sink.

You asked, so I'll tell ya. The pliers would make great wall art.

What pliers are you using?
@Kaufeetimevideo5 ай бұрын
@OneToolAWeekGuy I'm not ridiculing the Knipex brand or the cobra pliers. I just think they look Colorful, and you spent time displaying them to size. I have a couple very old John Deer wrenches framed hanging on the wall. To make a short list of tools I own, some are labeled Montgomery Ward, Kmart, BSA, Ford, Mac, & Western Auto. I have a wind chime made from old tools.

Thanks you for a great overview. I like the size comparison. I think you missed the 200 size though.

Buy them in a package and you'll save a lot of money I think maybe you're missing too and that would be the smaller ones and sometimes you get them all JD TECO had all

Man I just lost mine 😢. I threw them in my back pocket every time I got out of the work truck. Was looking at the icon model from harbor freight, maybe could do a video on those. I know quality would lack but for a back up

I feel the knockoff needs to be at least half the price of a name brand to be worth it. The pistol grip 20 vs 96 snapon heck yea. Icon clones at 20iah vs 30 is that 10 bucks gonna kill you? If you owned the original you know the quality in general gotta decide if it's worth savings and feeding rhe knockoff machine.

Dont. Get the doyles button locks if anything, but i honestly cant use anything other than knipex these days.
@padill4815 ай бұрын
@@saucyg6371 I actually meant the Doyle pliers not icon. I went ahead and got the Doyles and they’re pretty nice but honestly will get another set of Knipex lol

It's creepy that you're wearing gloves for this video. What are you hiding? Pink finger nails? Tattoos that will place you at the scene of a crime?
