Very nice concept idea. I've been using it (13 96 200) for over a month now and it works really nice. Only disadvantage is that these pliers are long and don't work in tight spaces. I wounded my hands twice while at work, due to these pliers. Also when you have to cut close to an edge or in a corner, you need another set of pliers, because the cuttingpart is in the back of the mouth. It's a very solid set of pliers and they work fast. If you're an electrician in new installations these are great and you probably don't need your old set regularly. If you're an electrician in old installations or cabinetbuilding, don't throw your old pliers away, because you'll do need them regularly. At this moment, these are the pliers I keep with me, but my other pliers are closeby.

If the drywallers had filled up my junction box like that, I promise that they'll wish they'd saved some of that mud to fill the mysteriously appearing holes in their walls. That piercing point on the pliers looks as if it would punch through drywall panels with ease.

How would this compare with linesman? Why are cable shears different from linesman?

0:53 Before recording this activity, you used a knife. It's impossible the insulation came off that easily. Despite your combining, I bought your tool because it is really helpful.
@paulsentandslet2 жыл бұрын
I actually have the very same model as in the video. And the insulation on cables for permanent installation in houses (at least the cables used here in Denmark), can actually be removed as shown in this video. But that is also the only type of cables this works on, because the insulation is kind of stiff and hard. On softer cables, you are right, it definetely won't work like this. Also, this is a multitool, which means it is not 100% optimal for any task, more like 85% or so. But for many tasks, it is really helpful. I hope you will enjoy this tool as much as I do!

They did say an experienced electrician can do this lol. I’m an electrician and this can easily be done with anything with a decently sharp edge
@Daniel_Kro2 жыл бұрын
Let us understand each other. I am also an electrician. The cable can be peeled around with anything, but not completely along. In the video you can see that he cuts the cable around but not along the cable, which is what I mean.
