Man, every time I see these incredible custom made pouches and stuff made by some tiny shops in US or somewhere and I'm always mad I won't get my hands on these because of shipping ridiculousness. So refreshing to see something right out of my home country! This may be just the thing I need for my switch from a regular shifter to one of these!

Idk what this company has to truly offer. But this is a quality looking tool pouch. I work with leather every once in a while, as a hobby, but only when I want something made tough without looks in mind. I am just throwing out an idea for viewers. I already had an OCCIDENTAL snip holder. It was just sitting in my tool box. I now carry, two 7 inch pliers, and a vampire plier in it for an edc. So one pocket carries 3 sets of pliers, the wrench pliers, the cobra, and a vampliers. The 3 best pliers I've ever set my hands on. I added a strap so they don't fall out. I'm going to try it until I can find something better. It works pretty well for now. Now I need a tape holder added for my Stanley 12' tape measure. I carry those 4 tools everywhere I go. And I truly don't know how I've lived life without them. Awesome tools for certain. I have spent a lot on knipex in a month. Worth every cent in my book. I highly recommend them.

Great information. I recently purchased the three (3) piece Knipex tool set (long nose, diagonal cutter, and cobra pliers). I have been on the fence to pull the trigger to buy Knipex but, after a year of contemplating; it was time. Through your video, I ordered the two (2) piece plier set (7” and 10”). In addition, I also purchased the belt sheath in the right hand carry. I have been communicating with Anna and she has been extremely helpful. Lastly I also subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great content.

I couldn’t remove a stuck rusted bolt with them they kept slipping which I was surprised because I thought they would be able to handle that but they didn’t so I grabbed my cheap pair of vise grips and it took the bolt right off.

@@corycg9624 well yeah, vise grip pliers are always going to hold better, assuming you lock them in properly. But as an all around tool, the Cobra pliers, Raptor pliers, and the Pliers Wrench are really good. I'm surprised you had them slip, 99% of the time they won't

I EDC the 125 cobras, for work I use a leatherman OHT, the standard nylon sheath it came in disintegrated in no time and I hated the velcro. I bought the standard leatherman leather Surge snap closure sheath and cut the flap off at the height of the OHT for a sweat guard and for comfort and easy retrieval. Drilled the rivet off the case for the snap and thought it was the greatest ever. Until I found I could tuck the 125 cobras in the little elastic pocket behind the multi-tool. Now I have real pliers in addition to the needle nose the leatherman provides. It's a great combo. I do keep a set of 150 cobras and 150 pliers wrench in a knipex sheath for slightly more serious work but I don't keep that on my person.

Thanks for the comparison, great to have all of the models in the description! And huh that is a cool holder! A small note though: I think you pronounce "knipex" with a silent "k" (we in Belgium do this at least). Keep that good stuff coming!

In U.K. too
@txtoolcrib4 жыл бұрын
It's always an area of contention. Trust me when I tell you, the "K" is not silent. It is actually pronounced Ki Knee Pex.
@muxmurki14973 жыл бұрын
Everyone may speak as he can, but if you want to pronounce it correctly, the „K“ IS spoken, since it‘s German - there are no silent ks in my language. Btw if you are interested where the name came from: the maker is Gustav Putsch KG, but in the 1920ies most German tool producers had just their name as a brand. But Mr. Putsch jun. thought he should have a brand name which explains what his pliers are best at - cutting - and so he created an acronym of „knip“ (which is a dialect word for shearing/cutting) and „ex“, Latin: = „off“. In English one might translate it to cut-off... but „Knipex“ sounds nicer, doesn’t it?

Awesome. Will have to look into one, but which size to choose? I use my Plier Wrenches every day at work. I usually have the 6" in a pocket, switch it for a 7" when i know i'm gonna be working on something, & have the 10" in my bag or pouch. The 10" is a real time saver changing out gas tanks in large banks. For an inexpensive option, I've had great luck w/ "Hide & Drink" leather goods. They're handmade in Guatemala, fair trade & come w/ a card signed by the maker. They're not perfectly made, but they have truly excellent quality, full grain leather & strong stitching. They have pocket protectors & tool pockets that make great slip cases for pliers and other tools. Most of that is $20 or less.
@txtoolcrib4 жыл бұрын
The 6" are probably better for full time carry. I still like the 7" model myself though.
