I think it is so smart to do a video to help us newer knitters to fitted garments and also a good way to sell and promote your patterns. I am so insecure to buy a fitted garment pattern and know exactly what to do without a tutorial. Thank so very much!

Thank you for such a detailed description of how to make this lovely jumper. In the pattern is there a schematic with all the measurements? I see that you have a written document for the bust size etc? But is there a full detailed schematic included? This is if one wants to make alterations to the size of arms etc.
@Juliapiro5 ай бұрын
Great question! To keep things super beginner-friendly, I skipped a schematic. The pattern is a little tricky to adjust for size changes, but choosing the right bust size should give you a great fit.

Hello, thank you 😊 Absolutely, you can modify this pattern for a summer tee. In the video description, I've included a link to Ravelry, where you'll find projects from test knitters who made short sleeve versions. Additionally, the written pattern itself includes instructions for short sleeves.

Your knitting is beautiful, sweater also beautiful! I'm working on his mellow mood now :-) if I can successfully complete it, I want to try all of your sweater tutorials. Learning tons ....thank you! What stitch markers are you using?. I would be so worried that cord holder would come off the needle while transferring but, it is pretty cool. It's also nice to use different yarns you have chosen and they don't cost a bazillion to make a sweater :-) nice job all around. Very talented and sweet to take your time to help us. Thank you ...thank you
@Juliapiro5 ай бұрын
So glad you're loving the tutorials! The stitch markers are actually by Cocoknits (they come in a set of 60, 9mm size). Yes, the cord holder can be a bit slippery, and can drop off the needle tip, so I sometimes have to pick up stitches back on the needle. But I still find it more comfortable than scrap yarn. Drops yarn is my go-to for all my tutorials because it's a fantastic combination of quality and price, plus it's available almost everywhere!

When did you stop increasing the sleeves or, how many more increases are done for the front and back when you stop increasing for the sleeves & can I apply the same to Mellow Mood For Him?
@Juliapiro6 ай бұрын
Hello! The Zephyr sweater uses an 8-row repeat due to the cable pattern and is designed for plant-based DK weight yarn. If you're having trouble with the sleeves for the His Mellow Mood (which uses a 2-row repeat and aran weight yarn), feel free to send me a message at info@esenique.com for specific help with that pattern.

I’d recommend using a cable needle that's the same size as your knitting needles.🌷

I have a question. If my breast measures 35 inches do I then add 5-7 inches for positive ease to determine my “size”?
@JuliapiroАй бұрын
For a 35-inch bust, you can either choose size S with less positive ease or go for size M if you prefer a more relaxed, looser style. It depends on the fit you’re aiming for 🌷

Is this pattern has short rows for scoop neck line as in picture ?
@Juliapiro2 ай бұрын
Hi, this pattern doesn’t use German Short Rows. The extra length is added at the end of the yoke for a balanced fit. The neckline is round, and its width is based on your cast-on stitch count. To make it narrower, cast on 8 fewer stitches and add them in the first round. 🌷

Hello, is this pattern still available? I have tried three times to buy it on Etsy and it produces an order number, then says download is pending, then pattern is unavailable. Hoping for a link that works. It's a beautiful pattern, and I've just finished the Mellow Mood sweater and looking for another challenge.

Hello. I have a problem with the sleeve. I knit 24 rounds just under the arm . The first brown stripe is not in front of the first stripe of the body (6 rounds under the arm.. ) is there à mistake in the explanations ? Excuse me for my bad english. Thank you so much
@Juliapiro4 ай бұрын
Hi there! Don't worry, it's not a mistake in the pattern. The sleeve stripes don't necessarily need to match the body stripes exactly. This is because we have different bust and shoulder widths. If you'd prefer the stripes to match perfectly, you can try adjusting the number of rounds knit before starting the stripe on the sleeve.

I am on the sleeves (done right now) but the pattern says SSK in beginning of decrease round and then K2TOG. She that is what I did but actually I now see it is backwards from our video (52:30 ish). I hate to pull it all out. I guess the other sleeve I should be the same? Anyway else do this?
@Juliapiro11 күн бұрын
Hello! It doesn’t actually matter whether you start decreasing with SSK or K2tog. The pattern says SSK at the beginning of the round and K2tog at the end. In the video tutorial, I start with K2tog and finish with SSK. Feel free to use whichever method you prefer and repeat it for the other sleeve!
