Could I do this with a normal long tail cast on? My yarn keeps splitting when I'm trying to do the alternating cable cast on

It happened to me too so I mostly pulled the yarn through with my hand but yes, long tail works, it just won’t be as stretchy.

Is it just med or is there a mistake? Im ar the first row after the 10 bottom rows of rib and after the last p1, k1, i still have have about 10 stitches left 😢 and I counted

This is a bit late but I think you might have missed 2 sections of the ribbing? It should be rib-cable-rib-cable-rib-12 stitch cable-rib-cable-rib-cable-rib if that makes sense

Lovely pattern but so confused by the row numbers. 10 rib, but then goes to 7 for cable pattern and after 8 goes to 1 and 2. Is that 12 and then repeat 8 rows
