Thank you for this wonderful series of start to finish tutorials. I've been knitting for 5 yrs but am a slow learner....can't read patterns well & have no knitty buddy or LYS. Since I have no one to basically sit next to me & help with real life explanations & answers my questions, you are the next best thing. I can't wait till after the 1st of the year to try this & the owl hat...that might be a little more challenging but it's a beginning of stranded/fair isle work for me & looks really doable :)

Oh no! bought the beautiful ombre colours to make this dish towel and the skeins allow enough yarn that is an inch short before adding the second colour.

Can you tell me what brand your needles are? I love them! You're so easy to listen to and you may have just taught me what I was doing wrong when I try to purl.. lol. When I first started knitting (2 months ago), I would accidentally purl, but haven't been able to do it right on purpose. 😒

Michelle Thompson absolutely! 😁 Make as long as you want. I really enjoy ours and now I actually wish it was just 2-3” longer myself. LOL of course I was following the pattern and needed to teach it how written. Feel free to tweak patterns to fit your needs. Have fun! ☺️
