Knit Cocoon Shawl *Sentro Knitting Machine*

Happy New Week!!
Fall is in the air, the days are getting cooler, which means I'm starting to miss the summer heat!! Thanks to pinterest and other pattern resources I was able tk find a pattern for a Knit Cocoon and I had the idea of making it faster by using my knitting machine. It definitely took longer than expected but it was still faster than knitting it by hand. The pattern came together as I had hoped and I love the fit and feel of my cocoon!

I was thinking mattress stitch would make the joins less conspicuous than slip stitch but it worked out really well with this colour changing yarn. Great job.

REMOVING WASTE YARN: At the start of the project, make the last row with waste yarn in a different color, just one single strand of yarn. That way when it's time to remove the waste yarn, you simply pull the single strand out. Taces two seconds. Just a tip! (The waste yarn in the end of the projets unravels until it's removed, so you only need to do this at the start of your project.)

You might have to use more than three tubes depending on how wide they are...

According to my notes for this project they are about 42" long... I hope this helps,, if your arms are longer than mine, I would suggest making them longer or vice versa if your arms are shorter.

Can’t see how many pins you skipped or for how long

I set the machine to Panel mode and just fed the yarn through, if I'm not mistaken the machine skips 4 pins in 'Panel' mode. I then continued in panel mode until I reached 32 inches, so I was measuring as I went.

Hi just a suggestion you should really explain what you're doing how to be able to get the first line of stitches on that machine and then what you're doing next there because I have no clue what's going on

You should watch some basic tutorials to understand how the machine works first. Otherwise, every tutorial would bore the rest of us to death to have that explained over and over.

Hi. Just a suggestion, but panel knitting on a circular knitting mill isn't a beginner project. You should consider looking up some beginner projects to learn how your machine works before you attempt more advanced projects. If you need to be walked through casting on, you're a beginner. Find some scarf and hat tutorials to practice casting on and off with and without waste yarn.
