Gingham Baby Blanket ~ Addi, Sentro, Circular Knitting

Gingham, Gingham, Gingham……. Oh how we love Gingham! ❤️
This baby blanket is done on my Addi 22 needle and my Addi 46 needle machines.
I needed two balls each of Craftsmart yarn in Ivory, Arctic and Reef.
It measures 41” x 41”.
It is done in tubes so it is cozy and warm.
For an adult blanket you will need 4 balls of Ivory, 4 balls of Arctic and 2 balls of Reef.

I’ve gotten much better at the mattress stitch but I have to line it all up like you say and then add stitch markers every 10-20 rows just to make sure I don’t get off track.

I've watched many tutorials on adding a different colour...failed miserably every time. I can do beanies of only 1 colour, so I'll have to e more patient. I love your videos, I'll have to be more cautious. Yours is SO BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you for sharing! Just one question.. how big is each skein of yarn? You mention the one you use but its not available in my country and the internet shows 50g, 100g and 200g, so I’m not exactly sure how much yarn I would need. 😅

Så when YOU say YOU use 4 balls. I Will need 16, to have the same Mount of yarn. Just so YOU know. We dont have those Big balls (thi hi) over here😊

I want to make a single bed blanket, to properly cover, can anyone suggests number of tubes or rows for each tube? Using a Large Sentro

Measure the width of the tube then measure how wide you want it and divide the blanket width by the panel width and that’s how many panels to make. I’m sure it will be beautiful!

Is this color changing technique supposed to create a jog?

It does create a bit of a jog, yes. When I line up my panels I make sure the jog doesn’t show.

No I do not. Lightly stretching your panels lengthwise and widthwise is all you need to smooth them out.
