Thank you so much Joanna. I will be trying this pattern. I can’t learn from written patterns only if I see how it’s done. Your help is much appreciated xx

Thank you; this is very helpful. I am always glad when I find someone demonstrating a technique or pattern who also knits continental :)

Thank you for such a nice video. The pattern is very pretty. I understood everything you were saying, & it seems easy enough to do, for a relative beginner. The only concern I have is whether or not I'll be able to "translate" from the continental to the English way of knitting. I will give it a try. :)

you don't have to do english - just follow the directions.

Very pretty, can you tell me how much yarn and what size needle would be good for a rectangular shawl thank you

I am using this pattern on a sweater. Already done with the body of the cardigan and wondering how this pattern would be done in the round as I work the sleeves?
@Minni-o1t10 ай бұрын
Did you try? I want to know also 😄
@wool2spin10 ай бұрын
Yes, I made “February Lady” pattern from Ravelry, and used this Easy Lace pattern instead of the pattern called for. I made 3/4 sleeves.

thanx would this work in the round by just doing stockinette instead of purl or would the pattern need to be repositioned? sorry I am bad at structure and mechanics of visualizing if it would work? BTW in your opening paragraph you describe this as crochet.

I meant to say that I did it differently. Instead of 1 stitch over the other, I did knit 2 together in the back of the loops. Not regular knit through the front but through the back. Now the work after each lace panel looks like a thick braid with both sides the same pattern.I think it looks nicer. Try it. Leah
