I just got back from a vacation in Florida and I'm knitting a baby blanket that reminds me of the waves on the beach. Hope it helps me get through the rest of the winter in cold snowy Wisconsin!! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Please tell Rich and Jamie we miss them too. You have such lovely WIPS (I’m not telling you how many I have….) I also stalled out on AGE of GOLD but you might have inspired me to finish it now…thank you! I’ve been knitting DK socks and cowls for the last few months, both as gifts and for myself. I’m thinking it might be time to put a few WIPS back in the rotation. 😉 Looking forward to all the beautiful yarns you’ll be bring our way this year. Thanks Sharon!

Beautiful WIPs! I have about 7 WIPs in progress with 2 more that I want to CO. My favorite that I'm working on is the Aurora cabin shawl.

Happy New Year! So good to see you! I am just starting the border of the Anthology Throw. I’ve been working on it since December with an advent calendar and I am ready to be done!

Beautiful color blue! I found a shawl pattern that I use 2 skeins of fingering weight held together. I am going through my stash and knitting gifts for the year!

Really love your show, Sharon. It's always interesting and I'm so relieved to see you too have lots of 'wips' and some that you find a bit boring. I haven't counted mine yet but think need to confront each one and decide whether it's 'finish or frog' time! February is coming and it's my 'finish up' month when I go back to projects I started and then abandoned during the previous year (or two or three!!) and finish them off. Last year though, for the first time, I gave up on a couple of things that has been sitting for years and frogged them. I don't regret it. Regards to Rich and enjoy your trip to Florida. Looking forward to seeing your show again when you get back. 💕

I’m spending the months of January and February finishing up a bunch of wips. I have 21 that were handy to me. I have more stashed away in cabinets. When I get down to 10 wips I am going to begin a pair of Christmas socks for myself

I’m knitting my second Sophie Scarf. Great and easy knit when I want a break from my sweater and baby blanket.

Happy New Year Sharon! I started the new year out going through my WIPs and deciding to finish or frog them. So far I've finished two pair of socks that were lingering for years and frogged a couple of things I completely lost interest in. Of course I cast on several new WIPs to replace those. 🙄😕😂🤣 Thanks for the great sale in your shop ... I found a couple things that were irresistible. 🙃😊

Hi Sharon! Good seeing you again......Louie and I and my new Yorkie puppy Ollie do miss seeing Jamie and Yarn boy but I get the whole schedule conflict thing. You have some nice projects in the works. Those fuzzy socks are really nice!

Happy New Year, Sharon! I am OBSESSED over your mohair version of advent socks!! You knocked it out of the park!! You made me laugh at how "boring" the haps are. And HOW CRAZY IS THAT AI??? My mouth fell open - those names are incredible! Have a great time in FL!!!!

Thanks Michele, I finished the Advent socks, and they are awesome with the mohair! I cast on another pair in your DK base. Watch for them on the next show. Isn't Chat GPT fun? Here a link: openai.com/blog/chatgpt/

I am a starter not a finisher…. so many things on the needles that I don’t even want to count. Right now working on a stripey scarf out of minis from all over my stash. I also have the Woolens and Nosh advent socks still on the needles. I was going to do afterthought heels but now that Advent is over I think I’m going to rip back to the heel places (I’m not much farther past them) and put them in with the minis like I normally would. Glad to see you back… I was wondering if you were considering retirement. :)

I'm RE-knitting a too large pair of sox which I knit in 2019. I suspected they were too large all this time so last weekend I wore them just to confirm the fact. The yarn was a skein I won from "This DIY Mom Life" on KZbin so I really wanted to keep them for myself. I've almost finished one and I'll be so excited to wear them. Love your show!

I've missed you! Hi Tom! The AI names are pretty cute, what a good idea. And the Brioche Knitting Expat shawl is the prettiest thing ever, so if you ever consider selling it I want to be first in line!

I would hate to count my WIPS. I have both knit and crochet projects and then potential projects in kits etc. etc. I am still trying to get to the middle of the MDK Kaffe Fassett wrap. I pick it up every once in a while. I just grabbed a crocheted blanket I started in 2017 and did a bit and then dropped it. If I live long enough a lot of these will get done. LOL. There is a group of “Finishers” who finish projects of people who have passed away. I do not think they would get to the end of my stuff. I am addicted to yarn that is for sure and yours is beautiful. I appreciate your podcast so much because a lot of the knitting podcasts are kids younger than my kids. I am Rich’s age and it is more fun for me to follow along on your retiree news and lifestyle. Thank you. You are always an inspiration.
