Hi Hannah! I’m about 95% finished with the On the Beach sweater by Isabell Kraemer, and after seeing your beautiful Love Note, I’m considering making one of those soon. I'm so glad you're back! I missed your weekly updates, but was glad you had some vacation time! I'm in the midst of chaos in my studio where I process, dye and spin fibre... I think this week I may have to put my projects on hold and tidy it up.

Love love the deep prple fuzz you dyed. The blueberry waffle socks too. Nice new hair as well. Have a few days off this week so utube binging. FUN! At the same time doing a summer knit. I am panic-knitting a wedding shawl for the end of May, but once that is off the needles, I'm starting a Pillars of Sinplicitee. It'll be my first time using bamboo yarn and my first real summer knit, so I'm very excited all around

We've had the North Texas Yarn Crawl, and I definitely bought some yarn! I've picked up some local dyer for a Love Note, as well as two other sweaters worth from two other local dyers. So fun!

Lovely podcast Hannah. I love the Bookshelf socks , I’ve been watching Becky’s channel and excited for the release. I have finished my le pouf cardigan that has been on the needles since the 1st of Jan, so that felt great to get it finished and I love it so much. Just need to finish my love note now- almost finished the body. Xx

Those floof socks look so cozy! And the new sweater is going to be gorgeous! Currently knitting a pair of Vanilla Latte socks for a friend. Another friend slyly used compulsion on me and apparently I’m knitting her a So Faded. Dyed up three skeins to match a yarn she found… to make a fade (hopefully). And a I Like it Bold Shawl for myself. Simon our cat has been shedding like mad, too… Kitty Glitter Everywhere.

I am sitting here knitting a musselburgh with the yarn I recently got from you. It's so lovely to knit with. I have about 6 or 7 socks in progress so I am hopefully getting some progress on those as well soon as we are moving into winter. It only took 2 weeks to get to nz.

Question: How do you dry your socks? Do you put them on those blocking forms? Do you hang the forms? Or just lay flat? I have the yarn, and am getting closer to knitting my first pair. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡

I tend to wash them in the machine on a wool wash setting with non-bio washing detergent. I then hang them on a drying rack to dry. I only use my sock blockers for showing socks on the podcast tbh! Get some on the needles. They're so fun 😍 x

I'm currently knitting a gauge swatch for a new baby sock pattern because my son is 24 years old and I have completely lost touch with what size baby feet are. I'm entirely dependent on pattern here and will have no idea if I create approximately baby size socks.
