Thankyou for your podcast. I have now watched them all from the beginning and they are so fun with lots of beautiful knits. I have made 2 Ranunculus so far and plan to make a few more. I am about to start my 39th ranunculus' yes I am that mad woman. I have done them in every possible weight yarns + even crocheted sleeves + peplum on them. My favorite is the single mohair one. I have a problem reading patterns even though I have been knitting for 65yrs but can knit this without a pattern.

You two are the dearest! What sweet and kind people you are. I’m going to download this pattern immediately- I’m inspired! So happy the learn about Westchester yarn shops; 20+ years ago, lived in Hastings-on-Hudson. Can’t wait to drive from my home in Bucks County PA, across the new Cuomo/old Tappan Zee bridge to visit Tarrytown and Mt Kisco shops. You feel like old friends already…keep up the great videos. 😊❤️

Yes, come visit! There's another great shop in Hastings-on-Hudson on Main St called The Observatory Shop. Also, if you make it up to Cold Spring, there's a new one there called Endless Skein. You can make your own little yarn crawl! Keep us posted. Jonna

So glad your podcasts came up on my feed. Have watched most of them, but bounced around doing it. Just finished your field trip to Westport. What a fun shop! Your videos are so easy and friendly. I like that you aren’t pushing products or have an agenda. I really liked this video talking about all of your Ranunculus and the history with each one. It shows the love you have with all of your knits. That being said, I will buy the pattern as it is very pretty, to knit a summer sweater to wear to my son’s graduation. Thank you for all of your comments about it (neckline, sleeve, bottom, etc), as this saves time reviewing all of the Ravelry comments.

Hi Jonna and Kim, I started watching your podcasts in December. I hadn't knit in several years and due to an injury that has me stuck in bed for awhile, I decided to start. So, of course, I was looking for tutorials on some basics and somehow one of your episodes showed up in my feed and I've since watched them all and look forward to new ones as you post them. As a beginnerish knitter, I am inspired by your work and love the fun that the two of you have. Thanks for creating these!

Just found your channel and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I have physical limitations and need snacks to have and also meals made with limited preparation. Can’t wait to try your tuna salad. I noticed a comment from someone to kill the music but honestly I didn’t even notice it. I thought music? what music? I think it might have been because I was totally engrossed in what you were saying.

I recently "discovered" your channel and have been enjoying your videos! You're so lovely and kind and fun, it's a pleasure to spend time with you while I knit! And your friendship is beautiful. I made 2 Ranunculus - a winter version and a summer version, and this episode had me thinking I'd like to make another one! Thanks for the company and the inspiration.

Your variations of Ranunculous are inspiring me to knit more of them! I have two and because I'm a tight knitter they both fit with only an inch or two of positive ease. I also knit both with full length sleeves and one by one ribbing and being in my later sixties, no way am I going cropped! But I would love to try a short sleeved summery version and a three quarter length sleeve version with the I-cord bind off. Everything you shared about the joy of knitting this wonderful pattern is so true! Yours are all beautiful! See you next time and happy knitting!

I thought I was the only one that had a Ranunculus obsession, I only did four, you girls really inspired me to knit a few more,. Although I am onto another beautiful easy and very satisfying knit, I’ve done five Magnolia chunky’s. None of which were for me😳. So that will be one of my 2022 knits for sure. It’s by Camilla Vadd. I love her designs and I love your podcast, it’s fun to listen to your experiences with patterns while I am knitting and making changes on the fly myself. Thanks , Susan from Victoria B.C. Canada.

I put off knitting the ranunculus because the photo it is so stretched out. Im so glad to see the different types of yarns and sizes. I ended up using sock yarn (light blue- no stripes!) then doubled up the body and it turned out great . I guess it’s a miracle sweater - any size and any type of yarn.

A great alternative to the tubular cast on is the alternating cable cast on! It's like a knitted cast on, but has good stretch and that clean, seamless, look that the tubular cast on provides, with none of the fiddling! Your ranunculuses really made me want to cast on another! I have yarn in my stash to make one for my mom haha

Thanks for sharing all of your Ranunculus sweaters. I have been wanting to make one for awhile and finally cast one on last week but had to rip it out since the neckline was too tight. I was happy to see how you adjusted yours to make a larger neckline. I’m inspired to restart again this weekend. 🧶
