Wow here we are again. I am rethinking, last year left such a sour note, I finished in time as I always do. If I do the MKAl, I will start with suggested 2 colors and a mohair pop, but chances are,…it may be 3 or 4 colors and a mohair pop.

Martin - I love the green and pink colours and with black suri will be fab. Irina - love the burgundy with the colour by Kyti. They make each other shine. Might do MKAL but I’m waiting to see clue 1 first. Will use stash. And I have stellina too.

I received my Martyn bear kit from Toft HQ yesterday, along with the Martyn patch. My first Toft! Knock on wood, but I usually get my packages from the UK to the northeast part of the US in a week. I live in Southern New Hampshire, so I am probably about an hour drive north of Irina. I do have Irina's shawl pattern waiting to be made. Just have to decide on yarn and colors. As it will be a gift for a distant cousin in Australia, think I will dye a lace weight yarn as the contrast so I don't have to worry about allergies to fuzzy, fluffy lace weight yarns. Irina, option 1.

It took me a year to finish Slipstravaganza and same with Twists & Turns except it was upside down and opposite sided. Still a newbie after 4 years. Irina - when you put up the burgundy and pink, I shouted, ADD SOME GREY! so yeah, the grey/pink with the burgundy! Martyn, I saw those crochet socks too - was it Michael from Piece4Peace? I don't remember but they almost made me want to learn to crochet.

I wasn't planning on joining this year, but your excitement has made me change my mind and stash dive. I already have a question, and it's about using Instagram. I never post progress photos. I usually just use Instagram to follow people. Does someone have a video explaining how to do the spoiler photo so that people have to swipe to see your progress picture? I liked how last year people inserted themselves into the astronaut helmet and used that as their spoiler photo. Does Stephen have an image that people can download and use for the first slide? Does everyone just get the image from the pattern pdf or his website?
