Can you help me please? I’m working the back, done pattern for 15 rows, purled 1 row, knitted 5 rows. It says continue to stst until work measures 5 inches (I’m doing 3-6mths), but my work already measures 5 and a half. Do I skip the stst and go straight to the shape raglan part? Many thanks

Hi, l think your tension is a bit loose.... did you do a Swatch, using 4mm needles, 19 stitches and 27 rows measure 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch. Check Measurements box. If you are happy with your tension you can skip sts and start working on the Raglan. Make sure you maintain the same tension throughout.

I knitted this for a 2 year old... The best way is to measure the recipient's chest and use that as a guide. I hope the makes sense.
