I used this for the first time last night - it had looked difficult but you made it super-easy and it's perfect!! You are the very best knitting instructor ever! So helpful and clear, perfectly explained and demonstrated - I love all your Slow Motion videos and all your regular speed videos - whenever I need assistance I only look at yours now for everything! Thank you SO MUCH!! Ann from UK!

Thank you for making videos for very visual learners as I'm a kinesthetic learner which is proving a big challenge during this lockdown. I finally got this!!
@emmayoung9218 Жыл бұрын
These slow motion videos are brilliant, thank you for sharing. I will definitely try the PBF - good to know that's an option. It's so difficult trying to get around the back with the tightness created by the F stitch. I'm a beginner working on a project where my current row is working 250 stitches PFB in lace mohair to make a frill! I have never sworn at my knitting so much 😵💫
@connorstern84136 ай бұрын
Did you get it done in the end? And was there much more swearing?! lol
@emmayoung92186 ай бұрын
@@connorstern8413 Yes I did thanks, with much swearing and haven't touched mohair since! Although I've seen a pattern i'd like to try, I'm a sucker for a ruffle, which tends to have a lot of PFB :)

WOW! Slow mo is the only way for me to understand this stitch. Thank you.

I love this method because it doesn't leave large holes.
@verypinkknits5 жыл бұрын
The only increase that should leave a hole is a yarn-over...if you are getting holes in other increases (like Make 1), please review my videos on that stitch, you might be working it incorrectly.
@CookingWithTovia5 жыл бұрын
VeryPink Knits I’m not getting holes that’s why I said I love this increase. 😀

Thank you very much. I love your slow motion. Did not have to watch your video over and over again. Once did the trick. Also, thank you for the alternative to the pfb. Your way was so much easier. Pbf. ❤️

In future I will definitely use PBF instead of PFB, far easier! I didn't know you could use that instead, so thank you for another really helpful video. :)

Thank you so much! I'm a brand new knitter and looking to make a nice beanie for a friend, and this interesting stitch appeared in the pattern... The slow motion is GREAT... Other places the video is good at explaining, but the knitter just goes WHOOOSH at the speed of light, leaving the viewer to blink and go "huh? What did they do?" ahah.

I'll have to try the PBF for myself on a swatch and compare it to the PFB. I have no issue with PFB, I watch your slow motion videos for fun and to see if you have any new tips I can gain. This will be an interesting experiment for me. ;)

Oooooh..that second technique does look easier. Pfb is so tight on the second stitch! (I have also sharpened my cheap-o dpns with a nails file to help reduce splitting the yarn 😇)

Hi. I have a sweater pattern that is knit in the round and is using the pfb stitch in the yoke to increase the diameter of the yoke. Therefore this stitch is worked on the right side. Would it make any difference to kfb instead. The pfb is just too fussy for me. Thanks in advance.
