Can i have some advice, I am crocheting a project using gingham metod. The squares dont look straight but more pointy. My middle row is always sticking out and I dont know what I am doing wrong. I am carrying yarn in the way that i leave it in the back almost like you. I heard that I should try ending my last stitch with yarn under rather than yarn over when changing the color.

Hmm are you using single crochet or double crochet or something else? I’m not sure what you mean by “pointy”. Like looking like a triangle? Also how many stitches by how many rows are you making each square? I did crochet a gingham pattern blanket in blue which you can find if you look at some of my past videos, if you want a reference. I used 3 different colored yarns. 5 double crochet stitches by 2 rows so it looks more like a rectangle. And I carried the yarn on the inside of each stitch so the blanket could be reversible. If you want, you can dm me a photo of the project on Instagram and maybe I can help you that way!
