That was another lovely video Anastasia and thanks again for keeping me (us) company whilst knitting and having a warm cup of coffee. Having a journal and writing down your thoughts/ideas it's actually very therapeutic and it's good for "cleaning" your mind. It's very "healthy" to write down what you are grateful for and once you start writing it makes it more powerful, more real. We take everything for granted and we forget to be grateful for what we have in our lives so writing is a way of awareness for me :). Thank you for mentioning my name at the end, I wasn't sure I heard that right 😄. Hope you have a lovely weekend. 🙏

Thank you - you do a lovely podcast-inspiring, interesting with good sound and lightning. I am an old knitter-but still learning - just like you, I love gaining a new knitting trick. Love drawing too - but somehow its not so often I do it - but certainly love to buy pens and stuff, which is dried out the next time I get to draw. Often I chase some favourite colors in pens - yes I am a person, who can fall in love with a color and get quite obsessed. Its a good idea - the way you do the bullet journal. But sometimes I get stressed about what I have to do (due to an impossible amount of topics) so I have tried writing down - what I have accomplished in a day - big and small. Its good. By the way I am Danish, from the land of Fiber Tales, Petite Knit , ONION and Isager yarn.

Ditto!! I also am very organized with my tools and yarn. I weigh my yarn, enter it on my project page, enter all my needle sizes used, and then put everything away. I enter my notes as I go then if I make mods or run into issues they are fresh in my mind so I write them in my project page too. Just before I finish a project, I will look through my yarn or my queue to get excited about my next project. This also helps me get through my current project if I’m getting bored.

This was so lovely to watch whilst knitting on a Saturday morning! I didn't realise you were an airline pilot, how amazing 😍 I think knitting and technical / engineering / mathsy kind of skills go hand in hand so well. I have many things to comment haha! Firstly, your yellow sweater is gorgeous - I've seen the onion mohair in one of my local(ish) shops before, and now I really want to use it. I may place an order for an upcoming project, you've influenced me 🙈 I'm definitely the 'throw it in the cupboard when I'm done' kind of knitter - whole skeins are placed back on the shelf, but I have drawers filled with half balls of all different kinds of yarn. Loveee your taste in stationery! Can definitely relate to needing all the nice pens to do it properly haha. & thank you SO much for mentioning my podcast! I figured I enjoy watching videos like yours so much that it would be fun to film one too, so I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

Maybe we're just both Type A knitters 😅 because I could totally relate to what you were saying about weighing your yarn and documenting everything so you can go back to it when needed. I think the best thing I ever did was the tedious task of putting my entire stash into Ravelry (and it's not even a very big stash, at that)! Now when I want to work from stash I know exactly how much I have of what, and then once I finish a project I can easily subtract whatever I used to find my new stash total. Type A Knitters unite! 😂

I have all my stash entered in Ravelry so when I finish a project I weigh all my leftovers and update my ravelry stash and update the yarn tags how many grams are left and put everything away. I agree it is quite a bit of work and always takes me a bit to get into the next project.

I too love being organized, I use Ravelry to list all my projects, meterage and all the yarn I have. When it comes to Lettlopi, I do not think it's only the Brexit that is affecting the availability, as stores here in Sweden and in Finland as well have difficulties getting the yarn. I understood that the producer is working really hard to produce the yarn that all the world wants to knit now!
