It's so refreshing to see someone whose also new to knitting showing their struggles and progress. Your joy of knitting is so inspiring 😊 It gives me more confidence to keep trying and being more patient with my own knitting

You made a ton of progress in 24 hrs. I am working on my 18th pair of socks, I started in February of this year with the crazy sock lady tutorial. I am a 9” circular gal all the way.

Thanks! Oh wow so many!! I hope to make just as many in the next year. 9" is for sure the best xD

That yarn is so pretty! I love how you used different colors for the toe, main body, and heel. And those needles are so tiny! I think you did great and I wouldn’t have made it that far in 24 hours 😂

Great job. Yes, it takes a while on small needles, but so worth it. I was working on a vest that took me a whole year to finish- among other projects, but that vest took me from beginner to intermediate knitter. And yes, I do wear it.

I love the yarn colors! I ordered the same needles to knit those socks! I also had no idea you had a cat but I’m obsessed. We need more cat content!😂

Your sock is coming along beautifully! I have been crocheting for almost 11 years now, and I finally made crochet socks last year and found I didn't like the texture on the bottom of my feet, so I have no learned how to knit socks. I'm still working on my first pair, but I'm hoping I like the texture better!

This made me want to try to crochet some socks!🤞🏽
@lolz10183 жыл бұрын
I’m working on my first pair of socks too! I’m a lefty following the magic loop video from the same person. It’s getting confusing because a lot of what is knitted needs to be purled as a lefty. But I am so proud of you! I recommend using one of your crochet hooks to pick up the gusset stitches, it’s literally trying to crochet with knitting needles. YGG!
@knitwithkali3 жыл бұрын
Nice! I’m left handed as well, but I knit the way right handers knit so that I don’t have to translate anything into lefty terms, lol. I’ll definitely take that suggestion because on another project I had to pick up stitches and it was a struggle!

Those colors are so pretty and that sock is going to be beatuful when its done😍 you and your sisters might want to learn how to darn your socks for when they eventually get holes in them you can even use darning to fix holes in knitted sweaters too I think you might be able to fix crocheted items with darning but I've only seen examples of knitted items. I fixed a couple of my comercaily made socks and it was really easy. I cant wait to see your socks fully made😄

I love the colors! Have you considered using progress keepers? It might be helpful in feeling productive if you use them especially for projects like this.

Thank you! And no I haven’t considered using progress keepers, but I’ll definitely try it out. Thanks for the suggestion! ☺️
