Ooooh! This is lovely! 🌸 Pink 🌸 looks so good on you; I think you should knit with it more often 👍 I really like your design feature with the two different shades of pink, and having a couple of extra rows of it at the back looks fun and quirky, not misplaced at all. All around flattering and great FO.

Oh thank you! It is such a lovely colour, I definitely don't have a problem making that more prevalent in my wardrobe 😆 It's such a beautiful mix of colours when you look up close 😍 I'm so happy to finally have this tee 👏👏

Wow! Amazing! I think this is such a great idea, to combine the machine knitting with the hand stockinette and ribbing knitting. (Even if it is opposite of what you planned 😂) *100% noting this

That was also my plan from the start - rid me of the endless stockinette sections haha but admittedly, I would still like my ribber to work so I could rid myself of 3" vintage welts on the bottom of jumpers haha I am really loving the combination of handknitting lace or colourwork (the fun parts!) and then machine knitting the rest.. it's very satisfying :) highly recommend!

Your tank look's great. I had a knit master machine late 70's and 4 boys my I could turn out a sweater a night. I loved it

The top is lovely! I think the way you striped the colo4s around the bottom looks really nice and does smooth the transition. 😊

I can't actually imagine knitting a jumper in an hour haha Is this the moment you say you also have this machine and can explain exactly why the ribber that goes along is a pain in the *ahem* and how I can fix it? ;) it's driving me bonkers haha You probably have a much more modern machine than me though if you're able to whip up a sweater so fast! @emilykatemadethis I don't mind stockinette stitch at all ... mindless knitting in the evening is welcome. I'm worried about your hands ✋️ and all the pain. Is there any way to change the style in which you knit? I'm a thrower holding the yarn in my right hand. I have noticed that's the way Sidney knits, and she's always knitting a massive amount. Oh have you seen the patterns from Sqid knits? The adorable baby 👶 onesies from the 40's? Can't wait to cast one on. 😍

@marilys3549 yes I have tried many different styles but it's not actually knitting that causes it. It's an issue I have in general, doing anything, from opening doors or holding a pen. It's a medical issue unfortunately. But I have a few things I can do to soothe it 😊 The baby outfit is unbelievably cute isn't it 🥰 Oh I'd rather do mindless lace or colourwork over stockinette 😂

Have you watched any videos from TheKnittingPT? She's got some great videos with exercises and stuff for hand pain.

I am not sure... I will check it out. Generally I don't find any exercises useful as it's something I struggle with even without knitting involved... Literally using my hands for anything is a trigger. Knitting just makes it worse sometimes 🙈

@emilykatemadethis Dang that sucks. I hope it helps some. Not to be overly forward, but you might also consider going to a physical therapist for your hands if they cause you problems regularly. Though you've probably already done this.
