I always think those extra stitches in the gap in sweaters and socks is magic! It never ceases to amaze me and I've done a few!!!!!!!!! I love this yarn. I'm going to try to 2ply my spun yarn with a black cotton thread and see how it looks. The tutorial is fabulous. Lu x

Thanks Andrea. Always love your practical down to earth approach to things. I like the way you acknowledge there are different ways of doing things, but you make everything very easy to understand!

Would a provisional cast on for underarm stitches work in this case? That way there would be no picking up of stitches, although you'd likely still want to pick up to close the holes/gaps at the sides.

Thanks Andrea. I love watching your videos. You mentioned this when you wore your DRK homespun ton you Friday video. Seeing it in action was quite helpful. I always struggle with the underarm stitches. May I ask what weight yarn are you using for the Metamorphic? I have yarn I’m thinking of using. Thank you.

What are you thoughts on keeping the underarm stitches live and not binding off and picking them up again? I can see how the underarm seam might provide some additional structure. At the same time, I also like the ease of not having to pick up stitches again. Would love to hear what you think.
