Yes to everything you said @ 22:00 - is it just me or is the insta knitting community suddenly centered around drama? :( I really miss the wholesome period of 2019-2020 where everyone was just excited to share what they made for their wardrobe. I’ve always had a great opinion of you, but dang I am impressed with you sticking to your values! Go gal 👏🏼

Girl I have so much respect for you! I’m so impressed with this video and the last as well. I’ve followed you for a bit but I’ve just really appreciated you sharing your genuine thoughts about things in the knitting community and how kind you are! You are such a talented creator but also such a great person!

I'm binging your vlogs but it's a big coincidence that I happened to come across this around the same time I came across a tiktok by the same knit creator you're talking about with the same issue about paying testers. Like I can see why they said that but it made me so anxious for some reason and i couldn't pinpoint why. I realized that they offer no starting point or plan to make it happen but just attacked. That tiktok actually made me turn on your vlog bc it's so relaxing to me and inspires me to knit. Anyways, just wanted to pop out of my lurking to say how much I love your vlogs! I'm gonna retreat to my shell now

I thank you for the dumping a project or yarn, meaning I WOULD HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE DO THAT! Lol I bought some yarn off Amazon and it was beautiful blue faded. So I'm ready to pull the hanks apart and realize besides it being paper thin, the hanks weren't set up correctly imfound myself detangling for hours! I thought of you and this video, I said nope not today. Grabbed it chucked it. It gave me this struggling vibe to make something instead of enjoying. So thank you 😊

Wow I missed the whole drama live vide. But im totally with you, I would have stopped working on the dress too, or frog it if possible. I hate bullies! We should all be able to get along & share what we create, enjoy, & our design ideas even if different than the status quo. No one is above reproach. We are all different & that's a beautiful thing. Keep doing you. Your work & opinions are much appreciated here. Ty for sharing your hard work.

I knit continental and purling wasn't a big deal but I struggles a bit on where the yarn went in the front...to the right of the needle or left... but then I just noticed that my purls were looser then I liked... figured it will just be practice...then I saw a Norwegian Purl and taught myself how to do it. Omg I will never go back to a normal purl. My purls are so clean now.

I completely agree that the way we spoke on the important topics in the live was inappropriate and after listening to it myself I apologized immensely to not only one designer who reached out who felt personally attacked by idknitthat’s tiktok and the live but to the whole community. It shouldn’t haven’t been labelled as spilling tea or drama but more of a platform for those who have been reaching out to me the past few months about their horrible experiences in test knitting. I definitely felt frustrated by what I was witnessing from the knitwear designer community with short deadlines, lack of acknowledgement of their testers and overall creating really toxic environments for their testers. But again this is not excuse for how I went about it. I did offer solutions on how designers could create a safer environment for their testers by the feedback testers themselves gave in a poll I created before the live. When I spoke about mediocre designs it definitely was inappropriate how I articulated myself. I was trying to say that people shouldn’t feel pressured to constantly design. The designer that did reach out to me that felt attacked even said themselves that they felt so overwhelmed and they apologized for how they treated me in the past because of this. Again it definitely could have been a much better conversation and completely understand your view. I also got bad vibes from it and feel horrible that I articulated myself in a way that hurt some. It took away from all the hurt others have been feeling for months that was expressed that led to this live in the first place. My intent was to highlight the treatment of testers not to hurt more people. I completely respect your decision to do this vlog and to unfollow me and I apologize for how I made you felt.

I totally love the whole stance you took on I now no longer support this designer. The bad juju in that item needed to be removed from your life.

Hi There! Yes, I enjoy untangling yarn because I use it as a Meditation vibe. Can't yank or pull on the yarn while untangling. There are times I blow on the yarn while untangling. It helps to further loosen lightly tangled areas. But, I like the braids better than the straight. But you are the master of your hair. Carry on. Now, exactly why won't you crochet a sweater again? Wow! You ain't play'n. I cannot blame you because it means you will continue through your life knowing BORDERS. For your peace of mind and safety. HIP, HIP HOORAY! But Please, seek God and His knowledge to guide you through the maze of decisions you'll have to make as you move through life. Wow! It's all I can say. YOU ARE RIGHT, YOU ARE RIGHT. Blessings to you and family.
