Hi Ruth. Lovely to see you again. So glad your starting to feel well again. All your makes were lovely, especially the poncho. The foot really made me laugh. Maybe paint the toenails 😂. Thankyou so much for the eds shout out. It made me cry. It was such a long road to diagnosis for me, talking about it may help someone to a much shorter journey. Looking forward to the shawl kal. Couple of birthday gifts to knit, looks like they'll be shawls. Take care. Xx💕🌈🦓

Hi Ruth , welcome back Love all your FOs, Ho and Wips. I’m sock mojo will return. Good luck with the steering.The Happy Holiday shawl looks lovely, look forward to seeing the finished article. I’m a big fan of stitch markers on lace work, sometimes I think there’s more markers than stitches! I’ve just managed to recreate my Instagram account which was hacked, so I’ll look out for you. I’m just about 2/3 through a Kokopelli shawl, so hopefully I can finish this and join in with a new shawl. Really want to do another Stephen West shawl, so I will start looking through his patterns (I may be some time🤣🤣🤣) Your patterns look interesting, looking forward to seeing those! Take care xx

Hello Ruth, so lovely to see you back again and hopefully you are recovering well, and always remember, you need time to relax, rest and heal. I love the shawl kal, I haven't knit any in a long time, but I do have 2 that I would really love to knit, so this could be the get up and go that I need lol. My daughter Maggie would love a special wee gift, she's still trying to come to terms with losing her dad, as she has spent the last year making sure that I'm ok, her hubby had a stroke a few months ago, so she's trying to deal with that, although he's now back to work she is doing what she can to help him and take some of the pressure off him, she has her own health issues but insists on putting everyone else first. Take care and get well soon Ruth, love and hugs from Scotland xxx

So lovely to see you back and looking so well. I hope the healing speeds up so you can stop dropping things!! Lol. What a lovely way to pay it forward. I have a friend called Jay. She has been an absolute rock to me through this last year all the while dealing with losing her job and serious family sickness and generally having a really tough time. She finally found a decent job and work environment but is still really struggling with her mental health and this package would genuinely make her year! Hope you're feeling your fabulous self again real soon Ruth x

Love seeing you podcast again, and glad to hear you're okay and still your cheerful self ! And just what I needed, your podcast always make me feel good and relaxed, thank you so much ! Those stitchmarkers are lovely... That foot though ! You had me laugh out loud here :) Funny that metal needes should annoy you; I don't mind the clicking, it sometimes even makes me feel nostalgic, as my mum used to knit with metal needles as well ( she doesn't really knit anymore now )

I love your Kastellet! It looks great on you. I like a wider neck in a sweater for myself… do you think I could cast on more stitches and cut out an eyelet repeat or two to open up the neck? That foot you ordered is hilarious!
@ruthlovestoknitpodcast3 жыл бұрын
I would d say so. Depending on the yarn maybe blocking it would be enough. The pattern is free so have a wee look and see.
@sandydonaldson23383 жыл бұрын
Was wondering if you can tell me what you did carry your yarn over the steeking part you are doing. I want to do a colourwork steeking project but don’t know how to carry the colourwork over the part you will Steek.
@ruthlovestoknitpodcast3 жыл бұрын
I just kept knitting the pattern but knit a purl stitch then 5 knit stitches then a purl and continues on with pattern.
@sandydonaldson23383 жыл бұрын
@@ruthlovestoknitpodcast the purls did you use one colour and knit with other top colour to carry colours through then start the pattern? On you next podcast I was wondering if you can show the wrong side of the Steek so I can mentally see it in my head if that is possible.
@ruthlovestoknitpodcast3 жыл бұрын
Sandy. I just followed what the pattern said. It said continue in pattern.
