I just moved back to Montana, to Great Falls and didn't know this store exists. I'll be visiting soon. I can't craft my way out of a wet paper bag but it's fun to explore

You need to go see Western Sky Knits in Lennep Mt. Kim Voldseth dyes her yarn in a building that was a cowboy bunkhouse. Her yarn is beautiful. Some yarn comes from sheep that live close by.

Loved seeing a larger had dyer! So impressive that they're churning out hundreds of skeins daily, my jaw dropped! Also so awesome hearing about how the support their local and indigenous community ❤ I still have my Rhinebeck kit from last year that I haven't touched from them lol but am tempted to buy some more of their yarn 😂

Pretty off topic. I talked with you for a bit at Spun this last Thursday. Mary is my name. While watching this wonderful episode both of you mentioned you were former elementary teachers but have moved on. I taught first/second for 25 years. I knew there was another connection other than knitting.😉. It makes me a bit sad to see such wonderful, talented, smart ladies who have left the profession. I know from all those years teaching that it is a very hard job. My teacher friends who are still teaching say “things” have changed so much. But, oh we need the best of the best in the profession. Maybe, someday, you will see your way back. I have a son who lives in Bozeman Mt. a trip to Helena is on my list the next time we visit. Taking my 18 year old granddaughter who caught the bug last year. Keep up the good work!! It is so interesting to see the various shops and dye studios.

I have a question. In your opinion, are teachers and students really helped all that much by the federal DoE? How about the state government regulations and directives? Most people agree, for example, that state testing and No Child Left Behind are failing our students. U. S. test scores are awful compared to other developed nations. What would have to change to get students real education?

Another great yarn shop Natalie, thanks for showing us. The colors on the DK weight are so pretty. Four more inches to go on the body of the sleeve scarf, then the ribbing. Will be glad to finish it but, it is so beautiful stripped with Luminous Brooklyn yarn.

I have been enjoying your travels and visits to yarn stores across the US so much. I've also been learning so much! I would love to do the same thing for my channel (My Wonderful Knitting Life) but a Canadian version. Would be so much fun although I would really have to watch my spending and stash building. I already have more than a lifetime's worth of yarn. Keep up the great work! Already looking forward to the next one.🥰
