How fun you went to St. Augustine again. Just a 20 minute drive for us, so we are there often for dinner. The Night of Lights is amazing.

I didn't have any knitting plans for 2024 because I didn't know I would learn to knit! It was a spur of the moment decision at the end of September and I've been on a roll ever since - I've made 3 toques, 1 beret, 1 cowl, 1 scarf and a pair of fingerless gloves... and that's not including the small items I knit my family for Christmas. I think my favourite is probably the beret - I got the yarn for it at a local craft fair and it is SO soft. For 2025, I want to learn more techniques - colorwork, lacework, maybe even branch out into crochet - so I can start clearing out some of the many projects I've queued on Ravelry.

I love that you made an advent blanket for your dog, and love that he loves it, but how is he not snagging it all the time?? 🐕 🧶 I feel like I’m doing something wrong with my dog’s nails! 😂 Just discovered your channel, love it!! Thanks for making great content.

What is the name of the sweater pattern you are wearing at the beginning of your podcast? I don’t think you mentioned it?

Could not get into the Wicked books. Mine and my husband's favorite Will Ferrell movie is Semi-Pro. I don't care about basketball at all but love that movie.

Love that you visited the yarn store closest to me Little Shop of Yarn! They have malabrigo yarns now as well, they have classes, are super active on Facebook and Instagram, and have a in store knit night Thursdays 4-6pm and there’s another knit night at the Princeton Library around the corner Mondays 6-8p. It’s a really fiber friendly area!

My favourite things were a wavy meshy scarf for my brother that looked like DNA and a phone case in multicolour yarn that looked like it was made of Lego 😁

This is great inspiration going into 2025. I recently moved so I'm finding old WIPs and feeling really motivated to finish some projects. I didn't see it in the video but I loved your christmas stripey socks from vlogmas.

I’m excited for 2025: yarn organization, project planning and busting stash! I think my favorite item I made this year was a crochet shawl made with a special hand-dyed skein of yarn from AK-it carries special memories from a trip to see my best friend there.

My favourite thing that I made this year were a pair of house socks that I made my 15 year old. He LOVES them and that makes me so happy…I also just finished an Oslo hat for my husband today, which he immediately put on. Next year is the year of making garments ??

My favorite FO from 2024 was the Tulip Jumper. I love the adorable edge on that pattern, and that it had a cropped option. I highly recommend that pattern!

I completed 33 projects this year, I've made some great sweaters I love, but I'm very proud of finishing my year long blanket - the Slipstravaganza by Stephen West. Still trying to figure out how I'll block it. I'm going to start my next year long blanket tomorrow - the Bubbly Blossoms blanket by Stephen West. What I need to do is figure out how to block this behemoth that has over 4000 yards of DK yarn in it! Nice round up, and I was definitely inspired by your Traveler hoodie, it looks so cozy. Have a great New Year!

2024 was a really rough year if I’m being honest which caused me to over purchase yarn for sure. However I’ve been able to solidify my yarnie community in person and now there’s a bunch of us trying to stash down together this year and 2025 is going to be so much better ❤️

2024 was a light crochet year for me - I had a baby at the end of June and I don't love crocheting while pregnant lol My favorite thing was a Christmas mosaic blanket for my mom! I'm eager for 2025 to make more and be intentional on my makes! I love your intentional wardrobe goal and am looking forward to your organization/project planning! Thanks for your great content 💜🧶

Love Boston Fiber Company! So many yarn shop owners are stuffy and unhelpful. I hate going to a shop to spend my money and feel like I'm not wanted there. Sara is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. And she offers so much inspiration by providing diverse yarn choices, patterns, books, supplies and examples. Just an all around wonderful shop.

I started the Chevron Moss Stitch Advent Scarf by Emkatcrochet - it’s a free pattern too. Calls for 24 x 10g minis in DK or double up fingering weight. So quick to work up too.

Thank you for all your inspiration. The only thing i thought about is that you only can double the yardage from fingering to dk but not the weight. 5g of fingering weight yarn should give roughly double the yardage as 5g of dk.
