There are so many details that you won’t catch on first view. When Marta first meets Blanc, as she steps out onto the porch, you see him glance down at her shoe, then take a longer look at it. When they show Ransome getting Fran’s note, the camera pans across a row of brown jugs. Earlier, when Marta was at his place showing him the ransom note, you see the same row of bottles, but one is missing. That’s the bottle he used to fire bomb the medical examiners office. They also show both Marta and Ransome climbing through the trick window. Marta steps over it, while Ransome steps on it, leaving the mud print.

Love this and Glass Onion. I think it's Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc that makes it for me. Thanks, Bralik for the request!

Part two however. Is worse than godfather threee …. Typical Hollywood they get something that is cool and then they want to cookie cutter mass produce it and just plug in stars as fillers and pretended the stories gonna hold ………it’s. Wet fart

I second the Safdie brothers recs. Good Time and Uncut Gems aren’t horror or thrillers, but they’re two of the most intense movies you’re ever likely to see - and make for pretty excellent reaction material. Also, everyone loves Gems, but Good Time is often overlooked and deserves way more love and attention, and is every bit as good.

Remember Harlan told Marta at the beginning Ransom played life like a game until he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a prop knife and the real thing.

An anchor baby is the term used by the right wing for someone born in the US, enabling the baby's family to stay in the US since the baby is a citizen, per the Constitution.
@maniac50ae14Ай бұрын
Thats not a right wing term, and it wasnt derogatory until the right wing started using it
@d4mdcykeyАй бұрын
@@maniac50ae14 Analysis of news usage, internet links, and search engine rankings from the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication indicate that Fox News and Newsmax were pivotal in popularizing the term in the negative sense in the mid and late 2000s. Per the American Heritage Dictionary: n. Offensive. Used as a disparaging term for a child born to a noncitizen mother in a country that grants automatic citizenship to children born on its soil, especially when the child's birthplace is thought to have been chosen in order to improve the mother's or other relatives' chances of securing eventual citizenship.
@JOSEMARIAMONTOYAKENTАй бұрын
It originated in the late 80's to describe the children of refugees from the Vietnam War that crossed the Pacific in boats, hence the anchor. But it only became prominent in the 2000s thanks to Fox News using it to describe all children of undocumented migrants that were born as citizens.
@RobertMorganАй бұрын
It's called an anchor baby because it establishes the 'chain' in chain migration. Once that 'anchor' reaches 21, they can start sponsoring a chain of family members as legal immigrants who are fast tracked to naturalization. If you have your child on US soil, even just a minute after getting here, they're a full citizen just like any multi-generational American. MANY very wealthy foreigners choose to travel to the US to give birth in private hospitals for just this reason, it's such a huge advantage.
