‘Knives Out’ Stars Chris Evans and Daniel Craig on Making a Perfect Whodunit | Rotten Tomatoes

Writer-director Rian Johnson returns to familiar pre-Star Wars territory for his ‘Last Jedi’ follow-up, the twisty, eccentric, and Certified Fresh whodunit, ‘Knives Out.’ The plot is simple - a famous mystery author is found dead and a quirky investigator must find out which of his family members or associates might be responsible - but the execution is anything but. Expect the unexpected, say critics who are lauding the film. Ahead of its release in theaters on November 27, Rotten Tomatoes correspondent Naz Perez sat down with Johnson as well as stars Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Katherine Langford, and Jaeden Martell to talk about crafting the perfect whodunit, playing a bunch of (mostly) a-holes, and the joys of telling your co-stars to “eat s-t” over, and over, and over again. Plus, each star tells which castmate they’d enlist to help them bury a body… if they ever needed to.

It was the only thing that I didn't like at first... but it grew on me. Felt overdone, and will be laborious for Craig when there will be sequels (Really hoping for a sequel though). I guess it has to be there, Daniel's character is like Hercule Poirot or Columbo, someone who seems goofy and a little lost, but secretly they are very smart and observant, which they reveal in the end. Sort of disguise thing

Probably the best film that has come out in 10 years. Seen it 5+ times, everyone nails their role, even the sidekicks like Trooper Wagner. It's a whodunnit, but the movie is enjoyable even when I know exactly what happens and who did it. Because of the funny dialogue, music, performance of every actor. I wish there was more Agatha Christie style movies these days... everything is just superheroes now
