My oldest knife was passed down from my Mom, from her Father. My Mom would have been 75 this year. My Grandfather had it before she was born. So, it's a Case butcher knife, wood handle. Never been sharpened by me or my Mom and I can still peel a tomato skin so thin you can read through it. It's the only knife I have that has lasted. I need more knives like yours to pass down to my daughter for many years the way my Mom did.

I have some excellent knives but they have wooden handles and not dishwasher safe if you want to preserve the handles. I love this set!
