Probably because it’s all triggers. You aren’t hearing those drums, you’re hearing compressed samples.

​@Acemechanicalservices It's not, though. The tom's and snare are legit. I'm pretty sure the kick is, too. There's definitely compression and the sound guy did an excellent job with the mix. But you can hear the actual drums coming through the mics. Even the cymbals sound freaking perfect. That's what I'm hearing.
