The Hardcore genre is an idea, not a set way of sound, so I've always thought. In studying the "genre" from my existance and back to Hardcore"s existance, there have been so many variations. Hard to deficer what is Hardcore and what is not KL plays heavy, but also with the specific energy that some of our favorite hardcore bands display at every show and tape on everyone of their records. You cant deny the rhythmic style the band plays, so hardcore. At the same time, Knocked Loose can care less about what any of "us" think, Ha. I'll argue to the end that 'Poison the Well's' "Oppositite of December" album is more hardcore (genre speaking) than Metalcore. Kind of where I'm coming from, I guess. Not that I'm right, but love thinking about this kind of stuff. I love various alternative genres. Its cool that so many are passionate about good music. Also glad that we are all supporting this band. PS: Puchase the albums or stream their records as much as you can!
