I hadn't played guitar for about 6 years. Never had a 7 string never even seen a multiscale IRL. So I bought a Schecter C-7 MS. Why not get both? And honestly, after not playing so long, the guitar didn't feel any different until I got to the bridge. The angled bridge took a LONG time to get used to. To control the strings and such. But now, I'd NEVER play anything else. Im in Drop A and my tension is like a standard tuned guitar. It's AMAZING

Notice he mentioned he has small hands. If u don't, IMO a thicker neck is better. Its actually hard 2 find 'metal' guitars with thick neck. But u dont really need a metal guitar with the amps + fx today. Also, yes the Uberschall is way more money. But especially live they absolutely slay.
