Enjoyed the video! Always watch LD18. I’m 69 and have wanted to try one for years. So, few weeks ago, I had a parking area to build. I needed to get the trees away from my 30x60 shed. So I rented a Bobcat E32 for a week. That was a whole lot of fun! Thanks for your video!

Nice job removing the dead trees! A piece of advice about the thumb and picking up logs or trees, try to minimize getting the log or tree between the fingers of the thumb at an angle. I have a 35P JD excavator, and I was picking up some trees and logs on an angle and bent the right finger out when I was cleaning up trees after the hurricane hit NC. As thick as the fingers are, i would have never thought that was possible. These machines make easy work of smaller trees! Take care and stay warm. 👍

I saw that happen a couple times during this project, and I didn’t love it. But I will say, when you’re in the zone, sometimes there’s no stopping and you just get the job done. I’m sure that’s exactly what you experienced as well.

Good video, I'm liking the dual view portions of your video. Good machine operating 👍

Thanks. I’d like to figure out of view to show you guys the controls without staring at my ermmmm…legs…the entire time…

Good video. You must have known you were going to knock that camera over at least once. How much snow did you guys get?

Thanks for watching, camera placement is always a risk! We have like 16” so far and still coming

What cameras do you use they look great?

The camera in the cab is a DJI Pocket 3 and the camera outside is a DJI action 3. Shooting in 1080p and 60 frames a second

You guys were getting slammed last night when I was coming home from my parents. I ended up with about 16” and it’s still coming down today.

Great video. No snow yet here at Eastern Wa but soon. You got your take home chained up yet??
@EverythingElliottАй бұрын
AWD on that. Chains are on the tractor though, we got some decent snow
@chevyjennings3404Ай бұрын
@@EverythingElliott Here where I am at, if no 4 WD you stay home until April. We only chained up our Crown Vics. What do you think about chaining up the fronts of our Kabotas? My John Deere 4100 kept eating front hub shafts.
@EverythingElliottАй бұрын
@@chevyjennings3404 I think chains on the front is a bad idea...you need to have some give in the system somewhere. The front tires slipping are the best place for that to happen

Hey Elliot. How did your food plot do and did you get a deer this year?
@EverythingElliottАй бұрын
If it were a competition to grow grass, I’d be in first place. I just can’t seem to get much to grow back there besides clover and grass.

What? No “timber” when the tree goes over?

I feel like yelling that isn’t as effective when I’m not cutting the tree down, but I may be wrong, I’ll try it next time!

I know exactly what kind of tree the first one was. They were the second known species of tree since trees started growing. It's called...... DEAD. (Sorry bad Grandpa joke) OK back to the previously scheduled program. I would like a machine that size but my truck and trailer won't handle it so I will stick with my 1.5T unit.
@EverythingElliottАй бұрын
It’s actually not too heavy, I think it weighs like 10,500#. Easily hauled with a 3/4 ton truck. Buy the machine, then you’ve got an excuse to buy a new truck and trailer!
@normhowes2975Ай бұрын
@@EverythingElliott I was looking for a 3/4T truck but this 1/2T was in my price range. The fact I'm hoping to retire in 2025 and what prices are even for rusted/worn out 3/4T not happening (always have my eye open tho). Enjoy the mid 40s temps this week.

Your looking good…hope your learning properly and run excavator controls…don’t be like these dopey new operators that run backhoe controls and don’t understand why nobody wants them running the machine when they are in the hole….be aware of all your hoses so you don’t catch them on stuff like the branches or concrete wire and whatever…or you’ll be out of commission real quick and that sucks….I love those mini’s , I use them the most.
@EverythingElliottАй бұрын
People that run backhoe controls also eat hotdogs from the side. No sense in it. I’ve been running excavators for years, but I’m humble enough to say I’m still learning.
