Sir we get 11 teams in upper half and 10 in lower then we have to find byes in upper half we get ans 5 by mius 1 from 11 acc to formula but in lower half we also minus 1 from 11 but the no of teams in lower half is 10, why we use 11 instead of 10??

For no of byes in upper half you have to use the formula n-1/2 and for lower half n+1/2. Then you'll get appropriate no of byes in each half for eg. Team=11 so by the formula you'll get upper half bye as 2 and for lower half you'll get 3 bye
