Agree with reviews below: not enough sound to scare a hypersensitive sparrow, and takes up way too much room. Desire to make an unusual design obviously took precedence over function. Gone bak to my little inconspicuous 2 quid mini bell!

i just received one of these bells. incredibly disappointed as it is almost inaudible. more like the sound of tinkerbells wand when casting a spell than something that will alert other road users. as the reviewer suggests, you will be safer just shouting Oi.

Apparently there was dodgy batch, so if it thuds, rather than chimes, let them know so they can replace it.

I liked the low profile looks. Too bad nobody can hear it, I always end up using my voice to warn pedestrians. It's a failed product.

Agreed Tim. Scared the crap out of people after 3 times rang before passing from behind.... Garbage product. Bell hammer comes out of fulcrum points to render the bell useless at times.. Knog is junk. The chinese knockoff actually is louder and more stable. Go figure.

Super disappointed by this bell. The spring bends over time and renders the bell useless. The bell hammer also fell out. For $30, you'd expect a bell that can last the distance. Mine lasted 3 weeks!!! Have submitted a warranty claim and have started searching for a bell that can last ....

I have one. It was a waste of money. Not very loud at all. The spring - which will rust in no time at all in wet weather - responsible for holding the hammer in place will bend to a point where it will no longer strike the bell. This happened to me id say after less than 5o strikes. Terrible bell. Dont get it.

I have this bell and its sounds so low that nobody cares and after a while the mechanism goes broke so you can't even ring it anymireanymore. Do not buy this crap. 02:50 is the sound you hear when your teeth or eyes shines in a comedy skit.

The bell has more plastic on it than a TickTack box. I looks like it will break before you but it on your bike. Another cheap plastic bell.

Shout ‘bike’! Or ‘oi’! If pedestrians don’t respond to the bell. That’s what I do. Shouting without the bell usually gets the response, ‘why don’t you get a bell’ Dog walkers are the worst, just ignorant people.

Folks be advised that there is the cheap chinese knockoff that all over the internet...i got the cheap one from Amazon, then realized it wasnt real. I got real one from Knog company, a lot better!!
