Machu Picchu s a perfect example when humanity and nature lived in perfect harmony. You're so lucky it rained for you there.

When I was a kid I watch this movie in the movie theater in Lima(PERU), I was wondering where this movie was located then I realize it was in PERU because of the names Cuzco and the design of buildings. it mind blow me to know that for Disney my culture existed. Greetings from Peru.

Too bad you hear the train in the background. It used to be so secluded and now it's a tourist trap. Such amazing history and feeling to the place. Aside from that what an amazing experience for the family to take and what wonderful memories.
@keandric27655 жыл бұрын
@Carolyn de Lara the phrase "tourist trap" is way too over (and incorrectly) used these days. Tourist traps are places where there's nothing going on and things are built (casinos, stupid irrelevant giant balls of yarn, ect) with the sole purpose of bringing people there to spend money. Is Machu Picchu a tourist destination now and a heavily touristed one at that? Yes. And rightly so because besides being BEAUTIFUL and in a beautiful setting, it is an Amazing feat of human construction and ingenuity. But tourist *Trap* it is Not

What a beautiful testimony to family AND education. Through all the highs and lows of travels you are teaching your children so much more than any classroom could and you get the joy of doing it all together. I also did the camera through the window. I wanted everyone to see what the Inca who had lived there saw every day. My trip was so long ago there was no tourist train, only the local. We stopped at the station below Machu Picchu then took a bus to the top. There were no guides and few people. It is a trip I will never forget.
