A safety tip for Esther - sitting too close to steering wheel can cause serious injury or even death if the airbag deploys. Just a minor accident can sometimes deploy them. I had an adaptive equipment car dealership install gas and brake extenders on my car because I am just under 5'. Cushions give you more height in the car seat. You have a beautiful smile and I really enjoy your family's videos!

Most newer cars’ airbags will automatically turn off if you’re too close! I’m about 5’2” and my mom heard about being able to get approved to get them disabled for short drivers and they told us that we didn’t have to because the car would do it for us. I know my car does that for the passenger seat too. Even though I set it further back, I don’t have to worry about it deploying if my cat’s carrier is strapped in there because it recognizes an underweight passenger and won’t deploy the airbag because it’s likely a pet or a car seat.

Knorpp and South Check to see if your car has a button (usually near the steering wheel) that moves the brake pedal closer to the seat. I’m 5’ and my van has that option, it’s much safer then sitting so close to the steering wheel. 😊

When I was teaching I mainly had year 1 students (4 to 5 years old). Every year I used the motto 'if we work as a team we can do anything'. That might make an awesome shirt. Then we would put our hand prints in rainbow colours around it. They read it every time they walked into our classroom. It really helped the kids understand that they are an essential part of our team. If a child is not happy and or doesn't feel comfortable or something is wrong at home. I miss my teaching days so much. I've gone from working as a teacher, being a single foster mum. Now I'm happy if I manage to have a shower without collapsing. This morning I slipped on the bathroom and whacked my spine and my head very hard. I'm now having shooting pains up my spine. We must all appreciate the small things. Thank you again for sharing your life with us. It can be lonely world even if the room is filled with people. Sending you all love and prayers. If you ever have something you want prayed for just ask and that's what I will pray for. It helps me because it gives me a purpose.

I'm loving the rainbow raindrops wall! So beautiful. I'm showing my daughter that, as she loves rainbows and she loves art so it would be a perfect thing for her to try. Great idea!! I love the idea of the night sky on the back wall...maybe even glow in the dark paint for the stars? Hot air balloons in the rainbow colors hanging in the corner of an opposite wall would be cute. Still young, but without being too young. Or even little toy air planes in rainbow colors. Jude and Eve are two lucky little ones to get an awesome room like that! Can't wait to see the ideas for the other kids rooms in time. Loving the diy inspired vlogs lately. So many ideas! Thanks!

@@larissaswinkels3661 They did scoot the seat up, but she's a good deal shorter than we are - under 5 foot, I imagine (actually, a lot like my oldest!) so the cushion is to make sure she can see clearly out the windshield. Exciting to see someone learning to drive, isn't it??
