As someone who make lace, I LOVE using knot magic. I always keep a shuttle on me and often tat until my hands are sore. Something happened last night. I wasn't working the spell intentionally, but I've been making a lace cloak. A few months ago I decided I would imbue it with the intention of positive attention. That's not the direct intention but I dont like to show my hand, but it was a glamour working. Anyway, I figured I'd busy my hands and started working a part during a club meeting because I'd fidget anyway. I don't need to look at what im doing much aside from occasionally glancing down to make a join. I was more focused on the meeting. Afterwards, however, it felt like half of the very large club's meeting's attendees ended up being nosey, complimenting my lace(i kept trying to put it away but then I'd be talking to someone and when a third would come up they insisted I show the next person). I felt a little embarrassed but also happy that people liked it so much. And watching your video im facepalming as I remember what intention I focused on adding to it before. 🤣 No wonder people were mesmerized! I need to be careful about bringing that piece along because sometimes I want to be super low-key. 😂

Knot magic is so profound. Almost a year ago I made a witches ladder, which is a form of knot magic too. It was with the intention of discovering or connecting with my patron God/Goddess. I couldn't believe how quickly and beautifully it worked. Without a doubt some of the most powerful magic I've worked. BUT I never considered adding in the elemental aspect. I am all Air so I will definitely be blowing on my knots in the future! Thank you so much Freyia and Daniel for yet another beautiful and informative video.

For my job, I untie and tie up to 16 different knots 5 nights a week. I find it somewhat therapeutic and relaxing. I thought I would dislike that aspect of the job but I love it.

Love the new intro! Great topic! I have a 9 foot Witches Ladder & in each knot I have a feather, (Raven, goose, duck), which I found. As I release the knot, the feather falls. The eyes see the falling feathers & subconsciously it shows the mind that what was bound is unbound. My grandmother from Lithuania use to say it wasn't good to go to bed with your hair bound because it holds "The day" & you won't get a restful sleep. 💚

My treasure, I have been developing in the craft over the last few decades. My ancestors have been gracious showing me how to bring the old ways back. They have shown me knot magic. I've been using it at incredible effectiveness. Including, odd numbers, hag stones, bells & feathers. Using the elements! Soaking in moon or sea water, using fire to seal the ends, ashes for something not so beneficial if required. Air, leaving in a full moon, blowing my intention into the knots & even burying in the earth & using tree bark! I've had problems with people wanting to steal my cats. Added a knot to their collars, they always return home now! Yes! I also now avoid shoe laces! Yes! Even brush knots out of your hair! Ancestors showed me to tie to the right for benefits & to the left for maleficent needs. I've just found you, thrilled that you use similar practices. Blessings of love, joy, health & prosperity!

I use old phone & device charging chords to do knot magic as they are copper wire inside & good at amplifying energy. Just cut off the end plugs and cleanse the chord in some smudge smoke before use.

I use embrodery and sewing in my magick. For me the knots that apear usually represent the difficulties and blocks the spell will face, by spending the time undoing them I aid the spell and remove obstacles

So intuitive and beautiful, Freyia. Thank you. I have a chain I leave in a special place as sometimes a specific type of knot forms on it. I work as a medium and when there is a special knot, I know a spirit is trying to catch my attention for communication and it becomes my job to listen and assist... until all is well. I never shared this thought or concept with anyone and it was perfectly explained by you. If you wrote a book on Sami magic and tradition I would buy it. Sami magic is a great interest of mine and it’s also in my DNA - most information on practices I’ve received only through my dreams until I also found your KZbin channel. I trust your responsible and compassionate approach to explaining concepts of sacred Sami magic. Another one which was very natural for me was wind magic. Growing up I always acted as if I could move or stop the wind and would leave rock piles under trees to thank them for letting me. There’s someone I communicate with through smoke on the wind (I don’t know if you’ve heard of that?) exhaling smoke on the wind to bring a thought to someone? This practice came to me naturally but since, your video on wind magic recently was the first I’ve seen about wind magic and I also learned about my ancestor’s story relating to wind magic a year ago. So I know spells can be drivin back to the host so to speak can u bind someone to stay away I am a wind element so would i wait for a wind storm because I have my Sami knots for when i bind the wind. I have not yet watched it, but a man I am VERY SCARED OF hung a flower with lots of strong rope tied around the stem with many knots inbetween on my door on Sunday!. Almost like he wants to say: I want to tie you up or hang you. He is truely phycotic and I ignor him totally, but he keeps on trying to talk to me and greet me. Does anybody know the meaning of it?
