Knot Pass With CMC MPD 1 of 2 Raise

Knot pass(ing) is likely the least favorite activities for technical rope rescue technicians. The reasons for knot passes are usually either when there are two rope connected and must be brought through either a lower or raise system... or a damaged rope that may or may not be protected with "knots".
